In all likelihood, the info comes from leaky websites, advertisement, press, and a bit from talkative staff. That requires a bit of work to identify the weak points, then to get the scripts to monitor everything all the time, and years of networking for the social engineering.

Cat Quest has been in 3 BYOB bundles, 3 mystery bundles, 6 regular bundles, and was temporarily available for free on Android and iOS. It's nice to get a decent game for free but chances are you probably already have a copy of this one somewhere.

Hi-Fi Rush is super unlikely, too recent and it wouldn't make sense since I'm pretty sure MS uses it as one of the their main titles to lure potential new customers to Game Pass, but oh boy do I wish to be wrong on that.
On the other hand, I'd be all over free Sonic Colors since it's one of the Sonic games I'm missing and I've never played it before. Plus it seems kinda possible.
