I wourldn't be surprised if they also drop an Alan Wake Remastered for free to push the sequel.

maybe because they gave it away last year already? i dunno
Comment has been collapsed.
I doubt it. There have been multiple repeats over the years.
Fun fact: Horizon Chase Turbo is the only game that’s been given away three times.

Not sure if removed temporary and adding back later or removed completely for upcoming week.
In the past some freebies have gone through that similar progress but later come back, so not sure if this time is the same of that or not.

Technically, there are still 29 hours left at the time of my reply. So tomorrow is the last day, isn't it? :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Technically, yes. I posted this today, which is Wednesday, and new games go up tomorrow, on Thursday. I could time these messages so that I post them exactly twenty-four hours prior to when the giveaway starts, but obviously, that would require a lot of time, energy, and coordination. These are just simple reminders. (:

I know :D
I was just joking. Hence the smiley at the end. I was just amused by the thought that you might have posted the reminder a few hours earlier maybe due to the DST adjustments.

The only country blacklisted in South America is Brazil, guessing they're from there so they can't see it.

imma be honest, i have been collecting epic games since the start and have almost all 450 games, and these 2 "Surviving the Aftermath" and "Earthlock" are the first ones that make me wanna download my first epic game and play them. no other free game has made me want to do that. so that shocks me, so tempting

For me it was Subnautica. Had been wanting to play the game and it was the very first game they gave away. After that, much like Subnautica, I have mainly played games that I don't own on Steam. Like GTA 5, Textorcist and Jurrasic World Evolution.

XDD Yep I was confused when they removed it, thought it might be the case they put it wrong date or something... but later came up with new pic 😅 Not the way I expected to be removed temporary.

Nearly five years since the inception of weekly giveaways, Epic Games Store has now given out over 400 individual games. This is the number of unique entries (401 as of this moment; not counting repeats), plus

Xbox would be the exception if you include Game Pass. It has 500+ games available and I bet far more than 1% of Xbox gamers have access to that Game Pass library. Still, it's a full library of games for those of us who were diligent enough to claim them all and it didn't cost us one cent.

I've got 269 games in my Epic library according to the Heroic launcher, including a few free games like Unreal Tournament and Fortnite. Never bought anything from their store. I know I've skipped / missed a few giveaways, but I didn't think it'd be that many.

By curiosity, i have check and i have 404 Epic library games accroding to the launcher, also with some free games like Rocket League / Fall Guys / Space Punks. Only bought 1 games from there store (was a key get by trading, for around 0.30 € - Shadow Complex Remastered).
Imo you have miss around 100 games from giveaways, i know on my side i have miss 14 games if i remember well.

According to the Epic client I have 422 things in my library, I know I've missed one or two weeks over the years, and I activated a few extra games here and there, so I guess the number adds up.
Kinda impressive that I've built a respectable library without ever purchasing a single thing from their store, it's still less than a tenth of my Steam library, but I can't complain when I haven't really spent a cent directly.
BTW there's no way in hell that this is actually sustainable for them, they're just giving away too many games for free, I really hope we don't have to see the whole store closing down in some years.

With the fortnite money that they're getting,i wouldnt worry

Weirdly enough GigaBash still appears to have a price tag attached to it instead of it being striked out as it usually does for free games.
Still free though.

Yeah. Looks like they fixed it. Seeing the same on my end now.

What do you guys wish to see this year as far as mystery games are concerned? Personally, if we don’t get any great new games, I’d be pumped to see Remedy titles make a comeback, either Control or Alan Wake—or both. It’s plausible too, since Remedy partnered with Epic Games for Alan Wake Remastered and the new Alan Wake II.
On an unrelated note, it pains me that I can’t play Alan Wake II because of my hardware. I’ll probably get a new PC in a few years once GTA VI comes out on PC. (:

I always guess Zombie Army Trilogy (and am always wrong) but one of the Sniper Elite series wouldn't surprise me. My best guess for a "big" title this year is Saint's Row (2022). I'd like to see Goat Simulator 3 (possibly paired with the original). Regardless, even if it is mostly repeats Epicmas is always fun.

Hey, everyone.
Here is the complete and regularly updated list of all Epic Games Store free games. This is a continuation of letsmaybeLP92’s work, who maintained this in previous threads.
Epic Games Store offers free games every Thursday at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET. Once you have claimed them, they are yours forever.
