Have you ever met another SGer you've only known through this site in real life?
That is very sweet EV. The only person in SG I know which is in the same country as me is JustinSane059. Still haven't met him IRL tho.
On the other hand, I've never really been hanging with family nor friends in quite a while. My job's conquering my life right now. Welp, It's nice to see someone having a good time in life nontheless.
(Edit) P/S: Nice bloody mood music. Playing it on loop ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬.

Then maybe I'm too young? I have no time for anything xD Maybe I have to wait for retirement?

Nah, it's a matter of prioritising having fun as highly as the commitment to working for someone else. An old boss of mine told me that nobody lies in their deathbed regretfully wishing they'd spent more time at work. I try to remember that and take opportunities to enjoy myself when they arise.

Lucky you! Also, don't worry- I've been MAJOR lurking the past.. well, practically 2 years xD I have NOT been active, but especially not right now as I just moved (apparently a lot of people think i move too much XD). Sadly I haven't met anyone in person from THIS site- but I CAN say, exactly half of my boyfriends I had were met online, including my current (whom I met while playing CS:GO which can also be said for my most recent ex. Let's see.. I met 8 in person, and 8 online. BUT, after meeting online, I personally seen 4 irl. I'd love to meet up with people irl though. Especially now. I just moved to a bigger town in a different state so maybe one day!

I will ALWAYS be there, whether it's here, Steam. Always <3

Good on ya! That's really cool. I love a fire - that looks like such a good time.
I dispute your claim of laziness: 7,777 games don't just fall into your library, and the organisation of, participation in, and documentation of this event clearly involved some effort.
P.S. That second photo is pretty cute.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun!
I haven't met anyone from SG in RL yet, but I've met folks from at least 2 different online games I played in the past a long, long time ago.
One such person was in Köln, actually. He "put me up" for 2 weeks, the poor bastard. Also one of the nicest individuals I had the pleasure of meeting, you would've loved him and his personality. ;)
As for an SG meetup in the foreseeable future, sounds very unlikely, much to my dismay. :(
I would definitely meet up with folks if folks were inclined to come and visit Portugal, but it's pretty far for most folks, so I don't see that happening, although it's a lovely place to visit, so it's twice the shame.
As for the idea of visiting you or anyone else that's just impossible for now. The expenses alone aren't something I can handle. At least for the time being and for what I expect to be the reality for quite some time.
It's a pitty though, I'd definitely like to meet some of the folks here one day!
P.S.: Thanks for the games and the pic sharing. ;)

I never met anyone who uses sg in person. But do sometimes meet with people which I only knew in the internet. Usually, the reason for those meetings are the same as the theme of that part of the internet we first talked. I mean, the common interest we share.
It was good to read about your experience, you look like a great friendly guys.
I liked the mood music and the pics too.
Have a bub-ump for a couple of hours left till giveaways end.

Dear SG,
I've been lazy. I guess I have to face the fact that my Momma has always been right. Yeah. I'm lazy.
1000 games given away passed by like a breeze. 2000 games on Steam milestone day came and went (I was a bit shocked about the amount of games I had amassed, that was another reason nothing happened), 7 years on Steam birthday went by without celebration, 7777 games hidden even went unnoticed although I had it in the back of my head. So yeah well, SG. I did nothing but lurking in the past months.
But now the time has come, spring is on our doorsteps, to awaken our spirits anew and breathe some life back into this community!
I have a story to share! Last weekend DownwardConcept decided to get into a bus and drive down here to meet up with Paxnit and me! :D
This was the first time for me to meet a person I had only known through the internet and I found this to be so exciting. He arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon and stayed till Monday. On Saturday we had some homemade pizza at Paxnit's place, followed by gaming, drinking beer and rum and listening to awesome music. We took the guy out to show him around our area the next day, we were lucky, it was sunny, and I think he fell in love with the place (let me know if I got the wrong impression, DC!), just as we love our homecountry :D
After that we went to my place, made a bonfire, had some more beer and music, made spaghettis on the fire and talked and laughed all night long. See pictures for impressions (and really sorry all you curious folks out there, none of us really was a foto person ;P). Right on Monday evening I became sick, must have caught a cold somewhere during the weekend, so that's why this thread comes with a week of delay also.
Whadd'ya think, SG, about a big gathering of as many of us as possible? That'be so great! Because now I want to meet you all great people!
I have some games to share as well and as I became tired of a trains I'll just post them here. Originally I wanted to do a puzzle, but this will have to wait till next time, it's late.
