I've known this group for a long time now, but I hadn't asked to participate because I was focused on studies until last month (and then I couldn't commit to any game or anything else in life besides studying). Well, now I've graduated and would be happy if I could join the group too.
The last two games I played in the last few days were Basement and Evoland Legendary Edition, that I'll play for a few more days, until I get all the achievements. After finishing Evoland I intend to resume Train Valley 2 (which I stopped before reaching 100%, but I want to complete, because it's a very challenging game) and only then start new games. I don't know if this is enough to fulfill this requirement (the Option 1 says I have to pick a game that I haven't played yet, but I started both very recently: Basement on June 22nd and Evoland early last week, so...), If not, I will play State of Mind within 30 days.
I should only request group membership after receiving a message here, right? Well, in a few days I'm going to post my progress on State of Mind here. : )

Hi rurnhani, as you pointed out yourself the game has to be unplayed before you apply to join so neither of those games would work. State of Mind works perfectly fine tho. Let me know once you beat it.
If not, I will play State of Mind within 30 days.
The one month rule doesn't apply for this game, it only applies for the games you have won from the group. If it takes you more than 30 days to beat it, it is fine.

You can request it whenever, but it won't be approved till you actually beat the game.

Option 1: Showing your commitment by playing a previous won game on SteamGifts that you did not yet play. The game shouldn't be very short and must have achievements. If you get kicked for the first time for not playing a game within a month, you can ask to join again once you have played this game and any other unplayed games (visit and login to the group tool[www.playingappreciated.com] to see which aren't approved yet). If you are sure that you've played them all, just ask in the application topic on SteamGifts to join again. We'll then check the games again and if they were indeed played, we'll invite you again. Note that if you get kicked a second time or if you get kicked for cheating, you won't be able to join the group again.

I have tried to join here with playing Broken Age some months ago, but I won't lie to you: I failed miserably.
I really tried to enjoy the game but for me, the whole point and click genre is somehow boring, and playing only to get achievements isn't my cup of tea.
I would like to request an invitation for the last time, and I would like to get in with option 2. My game to give away will be Railway Empire!

Hi SharkY055, considering you have already once tried to join with option 2 and then once accepted claimed that you can't make a giveaway for at least 2 weeks I am very concerned about of letting you join like that. The only way I am gonna consider accepting this is if:
1) you make a giveaway literally right after I send you an invite (I have to manually invite you since you were kicked in the past so I can easily do that when both online)
2) you don't enter any group giveaways till the giveaway ends and the gift has been successfully delivered to the winner
I would also like to note that while it is fine if someone swaps the game they use to join the group with something else if they don't enjoy it, any group wins have to be played up to group minimum requirements and "I don't enjoy the game" is not a valid excuse for those.

I completely agree with your concerns! Speaking a bit about me, I was mentally at a really bad state about the time I joined first and then a bit later again, but since then I've finally found a way and I look at life differently. Back then I join all GA, not looking which game was it, now I only join those that interest me in some way :-)!
I can do instantly the giveaway after you send an invite and I also won't join any giveaway till mine is over :-) I hope we can start everything again, as I'm a different person I used to be.

I'm slowly starting to become more active again. Still got some real life stuff to do, the next weeks.
But played and mostly completed my wins from back then.
I'm wondering is there a way to update the play stats on the website - including the games I've sent. If they were played in the meantime by the members who also left the group.
Not sure if that is possible as well - but games I won via shared groups, while I was not in PA? Else I'll try to track them down myself.

Playing Appreciated is a group for members that like to play games they win and for giveaway creators that like to see their games getting played. This sounds simple, yet requires committent and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month.
