Hi, I wanna join using first option. I got only 1 games on steam gifts, 1 dlc. The game is Warehouse Tycoon, no achievement. The DLC is Rise of Flight: Furious Wings. As I recall, game of this DLC, Rise of Flight United is very hard for me and a bit lag (played years ago) with 0.6 hours played and no achievement. But if the only option is play Rise of Flight United, I'll try once again.
Edited: Thanks god, I got new game from giveaway not so long after post this comment. I'm gonna play Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection (has achievements).

Are you actually serious? You didn't get an answer in 7 hours so you thought it was a reasonable thing to do was to send 3 messages about it? Once the giveaways ends you can find the progress of the winners on this page (you are also welcome to explore the rest of the site if you wish to do so). You can approve the playtime as played enough whenever you wish, but you are most definitely not obligated if you don't want to do so. The admins of the group keep an eye on the playtimes daily and anything that has been played enough by our standards gets approved.

Nope, definitely not. I think only about 15% of approvals are done by GA creators, everything else is done by admins. I try to check giveaways for approvals/issues at least once a day. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask :)

One more question actually.. My current Knightshift giveaway has only 2 entries. Isn’t the giveaway deemed “invalid” if it doesn’t meet the minimum requirements of 5 entries? What happens if nobody else joins?

If you are asking in general:
Giveaway is deemed valid as long as the winner gets the game as far as I know. The only thing is that you don't get CV if you have under 5 entries. But with KnightShift you don't get CV regardless since the game is marked with 2 stars on the giveaway creation screen ("** No value towards your contributor level.") aka a game that has been given away for free in the past.
If you are asking in regarding to the group:
As long as one giveaway between Mushroom Wars, Men of War™ or Overlord Ultimate Collection (Syberia and KnightShift being free games in the past don't count) have a winner who has marked the game as received it counts that you have successfully joined with option 2, the amount of entries doesn't matter to us.

Ohhh my bad, I misunderstood what you mean. I thought the game you wanted to give away was not in the list but I guess the group itself is missing from the list. You just need to sync your SG profile, thats it (it does sync automatically after a while but I am not sure of the exact time frame every how often it happens). Then it should show up.

Playing Appreciated is a group for members that like to play games they win and for giveaway creators that like to see their games getting played. This sounds simple, yet requires committent and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month.
