This is amazingly stupid. I know that people want to find a scapegoat when something bad happens, but this is just absurd.

I've known that most people are too dumb to live for years, so this was not unexpected. But I didn't know medias had such incredibly low standards as to point out the wrong person as the shooter. My respect for them just went from nigh above non-existent to completely non-existent.

In here, Turkey, a teen murdered a kid because of a mmorpg game. It was abaout stealing his game account, kid didn't give it and teen killed kid. Media said it was all about game. Anyone didn't say "it's about stealing somebodys stuff"

I was reading some of the comments on the Mass Effect Facebook page earlier, laughing my head off at some of these people. As soon as someone significant makes an assumption about the cause of this event, everyone goes and takes it as a reputable answer. Too predictable these days.

I always laugh when I see this in the media. I've been a gamer for 30+ years and many of the games I play/played are violent. I never killed anyone that wasn't a pixel.
