Thank you for the great thread! I bought Detective Grimoire, I LOVED the original free online version of the game.

While in early access the dev keeps the entry price low and on release the price will be higher.
Not the cheapest games or best deals, but you know, these hidden gems.

Thanks for the advices !
Not sure to list all (it's a lot) but it's a nice list ! (i stop here now midnight here good night ! XD )
Comment has been collapsed.
Completely understandable. It is your list so you should use your own discretion but I reeeeeally recommend putting at least the ones at the top in their own section. And good night!

i'll add some more from your list now but the goal of this topic is to present hidden gems (quality unknown games preferably not many times bundled already, preferably not top-seller, can be cheap or not) more than famous games with high discount.(for these one, use the thread of glitch/best prices to avoid perfect duplication) or games already bundled 9 times, because the list would be infinite and bundled many times = they are well known now. :p
i understand that it's confusing however because i've been wrong to add half-life collection to the list (i removed it) : it's a gem, it's super cheap BUT it's not a HIDDEN gem (everybody knows half-life). Otherwise i would add dishonored 2 historical lowest and masterpiece but it's not the goal because it's not hidden.
And i admit there is a high part of subjectivity, that's why i ask preferably to explain why this game is a hidden gem.
Example to finish (not to bother, it's not my state of mind, i just try to avoid drown the hidden gems under famous gems - Wasteland & Talos - or bundled 10 times - for example Aztaca & JumpJet Rex)
Dishonored 2 - historical low never bundled - famous masterpiece = super deal gem but not hidden
Amphora - near historical low never bundled - very unknown but high originality game because of its graphic style very special = hidden gem
... And yes i know there are some questionable games in the list, xenonauts, disgaea, the guild II, they are very limit because they are relatively famous but not top-seller.
Thanks again for your list ! :D

La-mulana that he pointed out is a true hidden gen. Its amongst the best games i ever played, have a cult following and i never see it mentioned on any lists. Im ashamed i bought it on 15% off back then. Its a steal. Its a jewel.
Ps: it requires a level of commitiment and attention to the game unlike most if any. Unless you go googling and finding guides for everything you have to conect the pieces yourself ... and we're not talking puzzles that say 'im a puzzle!' here (theres a few of those). Also its the most dark souls game non-dark souls i know of- not on combat and stamina but needing to learn, hard, how you explore and even a bit on how you upgrade(and what you loose for failing).

Hello ! Yes i'm looking at his list on detail actually !

I highly recommend the game WUPPO, it's a weird medtroidvania/shoot-em-up/adventure/rpg mash-up with a huge world. Seen a friend play this, will start my own playthrough soon.
Plus the rating was 100% until some douche recently made the first negative review for being the first to make a negative review.

I recommend Rad Rodgers: World One ( 8,99€ (-25%).). An excellent platformer and an excellent tribute to Commander Keen.

Airscape - The Fall of Gravity
I have posted it in games under a dollar thread, but it deserves to be here as well. It sold really bad, TotalBiscuit even made a video about it.
Comment has been collapsed.
What makes it original vs other platformers ? (curiosity question)
Comment has been collapsed.
It is hard for a game to be original these days. Gravity mechanic will represent a decent challenge in later parts of the game but it is nothing that we haven't already seen in some form in other games. Controls are tight and don't lead to frustration. For this price everyone who likes platformers should at least try it.

I'd like to point out the Crystal Shard Adventure Bundle - http://store.steampowered.com/app/551840/
It's a collection of three small point'n'click adventure titles from the creators of Heroine's Quest, which is a highly recommendable free-to-play mix between an RPG and a point'n'click adventure title. I enjoyed it very much, so I bought this collection to honor the devs (and also because it looks amazing; if you like the Blackwell style, you'll dig those).
The Crystal Shard Adventure bundle is at its all time historical low at 30% off for 4,19€
Comment has been collapsed.
i don't add to the list because each one is free but thanks for pointing out, it's a nice discovery !
Comment has been collapsed.
What do you mean, each one is free? The studio released their bigger title Heroine's Quest for free and will do so with the upcoming A Tale of two Kingdoms, yet the collection of smaller titles I was recommending called "Crystal Shard Adventure Bundle" is not free at all. It's at its all time historical low at 30% off for 4,19€, as pointed out above.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh i misunderstood sorry ! o\
i add it to the list XD
Comment has been collapsed.
One i don't add to the list because bundled 3 times already but it's good to know it exists :
Out There Omega 66%off 3.39€
It's the game that inspired no man's sky (some would think NMS copied) in 2D, in faster, (in much better... yeah this one is subjective).
Common points :
However i can add this one to the list XD
Space food truck
30%off 6.99€ (but the base price just went down this month from 20 to 10€) near historical lowest, never bundled
It's another game when you jump from planet to planet but with cards and highly random !
Comment has been collapsed.
you SHOULD add Psychonaults to this list, although is not actually a hidden gem, this game is way underrated, and is so cheap for its value!
Comment has been collapsed.
bundled 7 times (i didn't add out there omega because bundled 3 times... but i wanted so much XD )
= 31 of my 60 steam friends have it = it's a famous game ! :D
but maybe there ? :o)

Super Panda Adventures is a short and sweet little Metroidvania, I think it's pretty great for the price: http://store.steampowered.com/app/311190/Super_Panda_Adventures/
$0.74 at 75% off

You should include the Trails in the Sky trilogy, Xanadu Next and all Ys games. Hell, anything Falcom related is a gem if you like JRPGs.
The Trails games have a really deep and fantastic story, backed by a superb world-building and great soundtrack and turn-based combat. Every NPC has its own name, personality and story that unfolds during the game (all dialogue changes after almost every story event), they are affected by the world and you. The first game is quite slow, but when it picks up, you're in for a treat. Also, if you decide to pick up the first game, you will want to play the second one immediately after finishing it, trust me.
Xanadu Next is like Diablo meets Zelda. It focuses more on exploration and combat, and most of the story is left for you to discover.
The Ys games are fast-paced action RPGs. Each one of them is pretty self-contained (with the exception of Ys I+II and Origin), so you can jump in at any game. Also, being a Falcom game, of course the soundtrack is amazing.

Umihara Kawase series is -70% off right now, 8.99$/8.39€ for the entire package. Cult classic platformer that deserves more recognition.

Ubermosh games are some of the best fast-pased games imo. They make you feel badass even if you don't even know what the hell it's happening :P

Hello, usually there was this sort of thread previous sales. But i don't think to have seen it this year.
So... Any ideas about some hidden gems of this summer sale ? Not the cheapest games or best deals, not famous top-seller, but you know, these hidden gems. These unknown games that catch our attention by their quality/originality and have never been bundled or very rarely so not many know/own them. Tell me a word about why you like them ! :D
For best deals/glitch/cheap prices on famous games => the thread of glitch/best prices
