What is your SteamGifts White Whale?

I don't think I have any white whales anymore... they either don't get GA's(like Yakuza 0), or I got gifted it/bought it/traded for it(I will aggressively try to trade for it if I really really really want it), or its simply unbundled... like Sea of Stars.

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow might become one as I am skipping this months choice as its overall disappointing, this one indie alone isn't enough for me to drop a month of my annual for

Easy. Dark pictures anthology: men of medan. Signed up on the bandai namko website when it was given away, but forgot to link the steam account so never actually got the key.

For me it seems to be "Dark Fall: Lost Souls" since I like point and clicks. 151 entries so far. As for games I really want, it would be sea of stars, so hopefully there's going to be more ga's for it if that bundle ever issues the keys if not I'll have to do what you did, and when it's low enough buy it.

Throughout the years I think it's Synergia... it is just not in any bundles that are worth it to me.

All of the GA's I enter are white whales :D Which is totally fine, I don't expect to win anything.

My most recent one I've been chasing would be:

• The Excavation of Hob's Barrow, but everyone is chasing that one because it hasn't been bundled before.

My oldest true-est White whale would be:
* Blacksad 4+years 233 entries

• A Plague Tale: Innocence 4+years 72 entries
  (my entries on this one are low because I only enter games I like to play within 3/6 months)

• DOOM Eternal 3+years 190 entries

I dunno for what game's GAs I've entered the most times, but there is one game that gives me that "Thar she blows!!" feeling, and that's NecroVision: Lost Company

Fez, for its rarity. 31 attempts, still. In half and four years here, I still jump on every gib I see for this game as if it's my last attempt ever.
Blazerush for the amount of attempts: 129. There might be a couple games with even more attempts, but this is the one that came to my head.

I could make a better list but I'm not going to stress the SG server downloading around 1700 pages for it.

lost count of how many Saints Row/Saints Row 2/ the rest of The Deed (i dont already have) games giveaways i have entered (they arent even that great according to some ppl but well)

Dust to the End and Garbage. I don't know if either is any good but they looked different and interesting to me. Only about 45 entries on both, haven't been too active lately.

At first i couldn't remember a single game that would fit definition of white whale for me. So i moved on
But after thinking about it for several hours (thanks brain) i did remember one

Spiderman: Miles Morales
and God of War

Not the most gifted games out there but there was a certain xmas giveaway for Miles Morales, were 2 copies were given away. One went to a game collector/leech who only put a few farming hours into games for the cards and be done with it and the other went to a fresh new account which was never to be seen again. Both of them did not even play the game to this day, and it still bothers me everytime I think back.

Since those games will probably never get into bundles its hard to come by and even worse to see it go to people that do not appreciate the awesome gesture from nice people here.

Sorry for the vent, but Ahab wasn't also full of rage so I thought it would fit thematically ;-*

Mine have actually been Horizon Zero Dawn, Hellsinger, Hellpoint, Gamedec, and Walking Dead Final Season. Money has been just a little to tight to even get them on sale and missed most of the bundles. IDK how many I've managed to enter, they crop up all the time, but still no luck lol guess I'll keep up the grind.

Terrible game

I don't normally have white whales. Those that are in good bundles I'll often get myself if I really want the game. I have a backlog I've been working on, which means I only enter for games I really want. Most games I want haven't been in a good bundle, so they don't show up here.

That being said, I just won a game, and another one a year ago after a six year streak of not winning anything, so I consider myself quite lucky. No sense wanting for games when I still need to finish my last win.

Not because of steamgifts (not sure if there ever was a giveaway) but because it's removed from the store. I can't even buy it.

I heard it was bad so maybe it's better this way. lol

Mine is always the current version of Football Manager but there's hardly ever any giveaways for it so I don't know if it counts

Two Point Campus. Can't even wishlist it on Steam due regional block to be able to find public/group giveaways easily
