If there's one thing I really like, it's learning fun random facts that I'll probably forget about in a few days.

I want some more cool people on my whitelist. So to get whitelisted, all you have to do is share a fun fact! Doesn't matter if it's a random fun fact about an animal or some weird science fact, or even if it's not so fun!

For example, recently, I found out you can't hum if you hold your nose closed.

I'm also having a whitelist-only giveaway here. (Level 0 and unfortunately regional restricted. Steam keys should have 0 restrictions on them >:()

ENDED!

Edit: Whew! I was trying to reply to all the comments but there's so many! I don't wanna endlessly bump my own thread with all my comments. Thanks for wanting to be a part of my whitelist, guys. Altho I (probably) won't respond to your comment, I'm still whitelisting, I promise!

Alright, I think this is a fun one because I didnt looked it up, I just figure it out learning french and it blew my mind (I could be wrong, but it still is fun if this is real):

A word for "toy" in french is "Joujou", so I the name for the Yo-yo has to come from there. Just imagine french people looking at the Yo-yo thinking "Ah, it is a toy. A Joujou", and so they must have start calling it Joujou, and the name must have sticked around.

&
Species on Earth that needs most water per day is elephant with 160 liters. So you would not expect them to evolve into special species of Desert elephant, which has a larger feet (not to sink much in sand). They memorize all the wells & wonder from site to site, while can maintain to be without water for 3 days. Now, that is fun fact & amazing evolution! πŸ‘

Same moon but smaller since it's slowly moving further away from us every year.

After their defeat and loss in the bombardment of Copenhagen, the Danes reacted by planting 90,000 oak trees toward the Navy’s rebirth. The Danish Nature Agency, successor to the royal forester, informed the Defense Ministry in 2007 that their trees were ready. Somehow the Danes haven't used them to rebuild a fleet yet.

Ooh, fun facts! Did you know that corgis have a long (and entertaining) folklore surrounding them. It's surprisingly involved too: Welsh legend states that the fairies and elves of Wales used Pembroke Welsh Corgis to pull their fairy coaches, work fairy cattle, and serve as noble steeds for their fairy soldiers in times of war, because, and I quote, 'they were quick enough to attack, but also sturdy enough to withstand magical firepower.'

During a bloody battle between the Tylwyth Teg and the Gwyllion fairy tribes, two notable Tylwyth Teg fairies fell in battle and were thus given a grand funeral. During that funeral, two kids playing in the forest chanced upon the ceremony and, overwhelmed by emotion, the Tylwyth Teg tribesmen offered the kids their fallen's valiant steeds. The kids took the two dogs home and thus explains the celebrated Welsh Pembroke Corgi's existence among mortal men. Pembroke corgi coats allegedly still bear the markings of 'fairy saddles' over their shoulders reminding us all that, according to folklore, they can be used as magical meatshields against fairies.

...I'm sorry, I cannot get over the fact that, according to corgi lore, Pembrokes canonically have magic resistance.

Corgi's are my favorite breed (never had one. just love them. don't tell my other dogs)

Now I want a Corgi in a character creation for an RPG that has natural magic resistance.

Hi, I've learned this fun fact a few years ago. But I'm still amaze. "Black and white are not colors because they do not have specific wavelengths. Instead, white light contains all wavelengths of visible light. Black, on the other hand, is the absence of visible light."
