Imo. We need "Giveaways" category for the key / cards / backgrounds (and other stuff) giveaways / drops etc. (non puzzles)

Once the threads get categorized, I want stats on how many I got "right". (I know there's a couple where I'M completely off-base because my hand slipped and I ended up clicking Bugs instead of Deals) It would be fun to know if most people agree with my classification.

Well, two improvements (which have been discussed) could be making blacklists bidirectional (i.e., blacklisting a user prohibits the blacklister from entering into giveaways from the blacklisted user), and possibly have it so that blacklists only apply to private or invite-only giveaways. At this time, the blacklist system is kind of (very) unbalanced.

I've been labeling them all as "Deals." The "General" category is for all threads pertaining directly to SteamGifts.

I've been putting them in deals too. The way I see it, any kind of promo that allows you to get games cheaper than their normal price fits in that category. (sales, bundles, freebies, price mistakes)

Add a sub category for something like spam/trading/begging, so that after voting is completed, you can remove those, or just hide them from regular users, so the moderators still have evidence of users begging and stuff.

Probably been mentioned before, but it'd be helpful to be able to categorise uncatergorised threads from inside those threads as well. Might get stuff done faster.

Maybe add to the original post that you can edit your own discussions and put them in categories? Just click on "discussions" op the top of the page and under all the categories on the left, you can find your own discussions. Open one of your discussions, click on the button on the right (on mine they all had the the "closed' button) and choose edit. Then choose the correct category...

Managed to breach the 1,000 mark, only ~86 times more of that to go. The majority of threads seem to be random giveaways, followed by begging, trading and people that don't know about obvious things that are in the FAQ.
There are also some odd threads with very vague titles and no post content or replies every so often.
It gets more depressing the deeper you go.

We have nearly 90,000 uncategorized discussions, and fewer than 90,000 support users, so we're looking for a little help. The below page pulls a random discussion that's uncategorized, and a list of available categories. By clicking on a category, you're voting to move that discussion to the category you selected. After you vote, another random discussion will appear to repeat the process. Once we have a large enough sample size, we'll move the uncategorized discussions to the categories where they received the highest number of votes. Thanks for helping us out!
