LoL or Dota2

if u didn't play Dota 1 go for LoL ;)

LoL is more balanced and clear. Less retarded.
Dota2 has retarded, "overpowered" for LoL players characters. Everyone in Dota2 makes their job 105871057x better and stronger. It makes characters there RETARDED.

Lol is easier and more funny then dota 2 but yeah there is too many retard players in its community.but dota 2 is hard to play im playin lol for a year and last month i received dota 2.played it it seems good but its difficult.and there is some monster players from lol community.but im still playin lol its more attractive for me.

For me it is LoL, I tried HoN and didn't like it and Dota2 has just way too much stuff.
Dota 2 is like EVE online, after 3 months of constant play it might be good.

League of Legends creates a way more casual and relaxed environment and is very forgiving. It's a lot easier because there's less things to worry about, less things that can go different every time they happen. You can literally pay very little attention for the most part of the game and still do pretty good ( ofcourse, after you learn the game, after it "clicks" for you and the gameplay becomes natural ). The game is very stale, not too much variety, but don't misunderstand me, it's actually not that bad, because, if that's what you're looking for, it is a lot of fun. There's a lot less to learn and perfect. You only need to learn the champion, and the general gameplay, because the map is not dynamic and hasn't got a learning curve of it's own. Ofcoure, let's not forget those meta-breaking rampages, they're just hilarious when playing with friends.

DotA on the other hand is A LOT more complex and tense. There're A LOT more things to pay attention to, A LOT more things that are different every time you encounter them and losing focus will make you do a lot of mistakes, which are not as forgiving and much more devastating. Even the slightest step in the wrong direction can get you brutally murdered and that failed animation cancel can cost you a sure kill. The map is much more different: there's a million of little juke spots in the trees you need to learn, the trees can be destroyed, so that opens up even more juke spots, and it's also not perfectly symmetrical when compared to LoL's. You have to learn every hero, and I mean, learn them: understand how dangerous they are at every point of the game and add what items they currently have into the formula, understand which items are optimal, which are sub-otimal and which are complete trash, understand the situational adjustments you have to make to combat the opposition or fit the situation, so that the next time you see that hero you know exactly what to do. Ofcourse, the same could be said about LoL, but in LoL champions build mostly the same items, you don't switch stuff up too much, while in DotA people can build very different builds and still perform equally good. All in all, DotA provides a much more stressful and tense environment, a lot of it is complex just for the sake of being complex, but in the end, when you see enemies' ancient explode it is THAT much more satisfying.

This is just my personal opinion having played them both. It all comes down to what you are looking for in the game.

im a league player myself. hella pro. But then let me tell you this. If u screw up early in dota 2 you will stick with the bads because you get pairs with people as bad as you. But in league there is an overall account level so you play with bads early and later in to the game u can play with better people.

Both are pretty good games for me since i almost everytime play those games with my friends because pretty much they are boring to me playing solo. And after playing dota 2 LoL becomes easy since in dota 2 farming is harder and everything else is harder.

It's called LoL for a reason.

Heroes OF Newerth to me and many other friends is much better than these 2 and with respect to dota2/LoL fans .. just giving my opinion

Lol's community is more beginner "friendly", using that term loosely. Plus I prefer the way it deals with skills and items over Dota. So imo Lol.

As a person who plays both, I can safely say: They are both good games for people who enjoy the genre, league is a great game to play with my friends when we want to dick around for a while, and dota is more for those times when we wanna tryhard forever. Never tried HoN but it doesn't look all that good to me, just my opinion though.
