I used to be a huge fan of Satch, but his work always comes off as cold and emotionless to me, more like a technical showcase.
There's no denying his raw talent, but it lacks something ... same reason I love Jimmy Page, but he's not one of my favorites.

Jeah thats true it sounds a bit technical, and If I Could Fly is one of his "emotional" songs :)
I never listened to Hendrix stuff except the standart "must know if your playing guitar songs" like Purple Haze, Little Wing, Vodoo Child etc...

Hollywood Undead, discovered them on youtube randomly and they became my favuorite group.
They speak often about depression but their songs are not depressive. They take inspiraton from a lot of genres so you will hardly find two similar songs.

random thread that i am sure are atleast 300 already but what are you listening to lately (music i mean )... i've been listening a lot of Queen of the stone ages, i tried listening to it a long while ago because foo fighers is my favorite band and dave grohl my favorite musician and they tend to work togheter, but i didnt really liked it before, but now i really love their robot rock, and also Eagles of fucking death metal, i really love those guys, i started listening to them for the same reason that with QotSA but i liked the all along.. here ara a couple of tracks :D... oh and also thanks again to our lord and savior Dave Grohl i've been listeing to the soundtrack of Sound City a lot
