It's a bit old, but still gets the job done:
Intel Core i5 750 overclocked to 3.8GHz
Corsair Hydro H50 liquid cooler
12GB RAM
Creative X-Fi Titanium
64GB SSD (OS Drive)
1.5 TB HDD (Games and Primary Storage)
1.0 TB HDD (Extra Storage)
2.0 TB HDD (Backup)
Bluray Drive
DVD Drive (hardly used anymore)
GeForce GTX 970
1100 Watt PSU (I know it's a bit overkill, but I won it in a raffle so it didn't cost me a thing)

Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard : Gigabyte G1.Sniper A88x
Memory : 8 Corsair Vengeance LP Blue 8GB DDR3 2133MHz CL11 Dual Channel Kit (8 more comming next month)

I've also got a bunch of WD Red and WD Green Drives installed that I saved up over the years as extra storage. I think 3x3TB Red and 2x2TB Green.
Comment has been collapsed.
have you got the Red's in Raid or something? was wanting to get some reds for data drives in raid backup but the cost turned me off with doing that for now
Comment has been collapsed.
I do, I've got the Reds in a RAID5. It's what I keep my Steam library on. I'd definitely say it's worth it, but I hear the quality of Reds has deteriorated since I obtained mine, I hear they're based off of Green (5400RPM) drives now, the ones I've got are 7200RPM.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B85M-D2V (just your average micro-ATX)
CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 @ 3,1 GHz (affordable and probably the best in its price range)
GPU: MSI NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB DDR5, 256 bit (GOD, I love it. Runs so smooth and cool, it gets more pussy than me)
RAM: 2xCorsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz (16GB dual channel kit) (probably standard for gaming rigs)
Storage: HDD Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (a bit too loud for my tastes, might switch to something quieter when I can)
PSU: Corsair VS550 550W (gets shit done)
Optical drive: DVD Writer Samsung SH-224DB Black Bulk (only use it to install Windows huehue)
Case model: Game Daemon 6001 (liked the compact design, might switch to a bigger one if needs arise)
Other stuff I'm proud of: Razer Deathadder mouse (World of Tanks edition) and a Razer Goliathus mousepad (World of Tanks edition) to go with it. Keyboard, monitor and headset are pretty generic low-budget gaming stuff.

This is my third PC. First PC was custom built by my dad with a lot of help. He made a great gaming PC. :)
The other two configurations were built by me. Second wasn't that good because I made some silly mistakes, but this one turned out awesome.
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85-D2V
CPU: Intel i5 4570 @ 3.2 GHz
RAM: Transcend 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTX960 2GB GDDR5 G1 Gaming
In my original configuration, I had a GTX670 by Gainward, but that card broke on me. Luckily for me, it was still under warranty.
HDD: 2 HDDs with 5TB of storage space
Case: A very old Chieftech case that I don't even remember the name of. It's the case I used for my first PC 12 years ago.
Monitor: Dell U2312HM
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Mouse: Logitech M500
Keyboard: Logitech G103
Speakers: Blueberry SW-M30 2.1 System
Headphones: Sony MDR XB200
Controller: Microsoft X360 Wireless Controller
Joystick: Logitech Extreme 3D Pro
Didn't get much use out of my joystick, but I will once Star Citizen is out and I get to playing some of the other flight sims I have.

A very old rig:
ASRock 880G Extreme3
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black (stock speed)
VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6850 1 GB X-Edition
Kingston 2×4 GB 1333 MHz CL9
Xilence COO-XPCPU cooler
FSP 500-60APN PSU
WD5000AAKX 500 GB HDD system
2×WD 2TB Green stuff
Some cheap ASUS case
ASUS ML228H 21.5" monitor
Cost around $950 in early 2011, now showing its age in gaming.
Wanted to replace it next year, but the whole no-real-DX12-cards-out-yet fiasco made me push it back to 2017. Will rpobably buy a GTX 750 Ti and a new CPU cooler next year to survive another year with it.

I don't see a CPU cooler. I went with a Corsair liquid cooler in part because my existing tower fan didn't fit in my new case. I love it. It's overkill for my present purposes but really helps with air flow.

Plus other stuff that I like but has no actual bearing on how my computer performs. The primary upgrade I'm after is a new motherboard. I bought pretty much everything except the CPU and GPU on impulse/ based on price. My motherboard does it's job well and looks nice but it doesn't have SLI support. So whenever I decide I need a second 970, I'm going to have to upgrade that as well.
