Bioshock... I find it plain and simple... Not the "OMFG best game ever" everyone claims it to be... It gets repetitive and boring very quickly...

I thing it WAS great game because it was really original when it came out. But today the new things it featured became quite average, and sadly the spoilers... if we can talk about spoilder about a game that's 8 years old. I really loved the creepy setting, but the gameplay wasn't that appealing for me as well - and story was blown for me as well.

I like a lot the first but the second, despite various improvements, is a boring copy of the first one.

I'll admit I'm not a big fan of the FPS genre... But playing Half-Life for the first time after playing Bioshock really blow my mind, and I believe it was because of HL that I got a little into the FPS genre now... Sure the world in Bioshock is beautiful, but its storytelling didn't really do it for me...

Just Cause 2 - bad storyline, bad driving engine

Just Cause 2? Just Cause 2???
Seriously, who drives cars when you got planes and parachutes and grappling hooks?
Who cares about a storyline when the very fact that you can blow shit up while ignoring the laws of gravity (and general common sense)?

You don't "complete" that game. It's... It's like saying you're going to complete... I don't know.
Anyways, give it another try, it's great just to free roam around!

Sorry, my inner fanboy triggered. I'm better now.

Its like saying you're going to complete Skyrim. One does not complete Skyrim. One stops playing Skyrim.

That's like a final boss of my backlog. It was about my tenth game on Steam (now I'm getting close to thousand) and I wasn't able to finish it. Twice.

Darksiders is awesome game. I don't understand why people say it's boring. It's like Zelda meets God of War, I loved it.

Velocibox - Runner kind of game I guess but it didn't appeal to me really. It's really hard and it's pretty well done in general but I don't know if I'll ever come back to it.

Run Or Die - Nice runner game if you're into them. But it's hard, be warned. I don't think I'll ever finish it.

Robin's Island Adventure - It's a match 3 type of game with a few hidden object scenes and puzzles placed in-between some levels. 90% of the time we do match 3 games and then 10% is puzzles and hidden object scenes, they're just addition. That's why the game bored me after a while. I've beaten 30 levels and there are over 120 of them. I just couldn't play anymore, the game's not bad but after a while it's so damn boring. I recommend this only to kids as adults will be bored after a few levels.

Schein - I played it for about 2 hours and I'll tell you right off the bat - if you like puzzle platform games then go for it. But this game is hard. First few levels are easy but once you get to the red light it gets really challenging. Reminds me of Bliss, a lot. Both games are hard and kind of similar in terms of gameplay. Maybe I'll come back to it some other time but I'm not a huge fan of platform games where puzzles are hard and where most of the game is actually about puzzles. I'd rather slash, shoot and jump all the time, like in Shovel Knight for example ;)

Default Dan - One of those platform games in which the well known rules are reversed (for example in this one coins kill you, falling into pits helps, some enemies are friendly etc.) and I'm not a big fan of such creations. It's not a bad game but you'll be dying a lot during the playthrough. I've beaten a few levels and decided to leave it be, I have no desire of finishing it.

Terrian Saga: KR-17 - I've beaten almost the whole game. But I came to a point where I just couldn't bear the game's annoyances anymore. The thing with this one is that it has a lot of flaws. Gameplay is pretty good and fun but there are bugs present throughout the game and every once in a while the game's annoying as hell not because it's hard per se but because of either terrible controls or level design. Seriously, who designed these levels? Some designs are nice but then there are a few places that are just so difficult to get to that it's almost impossible. And what for? To stop player from advancing? Really? Controlling the character is not bad although it could have been a lot better. And 30 FPS lock, really? This game feels unfinished. If they worked on it for a few more months I'd say it was good, at least. Wasted potential.

Edit: Finished Terrian Saga, finally lol.

Deponia - Main hero is the most annoying character I've ever played. I couldn't stand him

King's Bounty: Warriors of the North. I loved first King's Bounty, liked Armored Princess, but this was too much to me. Playing the same game for the third time was boooooring

The 7th Guest - one thing - memory puzzle... I had to remember the order of about ten tunes and played it in the proper way. I passed.

The Impossible Game - I knew it was going to be hard but not like this! I'll probably never finish it, especially that every time you die you respawn at the beginning of the level. One little slip and you're done for. It's a good game but extremely challenging.

La Noire. Didn't quit cause it was boring...just after you -- spoiler... but not really that big of one -- solve the big murder and get downgraded to working drug cases. I got pissed off and uninstalled...like really? I do that and that's how they treat me? GTFO.

I'm tempted to try it again..just have to forgive it and give it a chance. lol

Cubicity - Pretty nice little puzzle game. It's 2D Portal basically (but without portals). You use a magnet and a gravity gun to move crates and you have to solve puzzles while you're at it. It's pretty nice but I'm not in mood for puzzle games so I'm going to skip it for now.

Aces Of The Luftwaffe - It's a shoot 'em up game in which you control an airplane. It's pretty nice but I don't think I'm going to play much more as it's all about grinding. The more "symbols" you collect the more upgrades you can buy and it also applies to missions. It's a pretty nice game though so if you're into that give it a shot.

Back To Bed - It's basically a puzzle game where you have to put apples in the right places so the sleepwalker will safely go to bed. It's like Lemmings but with one character instead of many and in isometric view. Go for it if you like such games but I never liked Lemmings nor the idea of figuring out how to change the direction of person who walks in straight line.

Doom 3: BFG Edition - Got bored after I beat the main game in Doom 3 and Doom
Duke Nukem 3D: Megatron Edition - Got bored after the first few levels
Five Night's at Freddy's - I cannot beat Night 6
La-Mulana - Where the f**k am I suppose to go?
Mirror's Edge - The fight sections are really boring and slows down the pace of the game.

Defy Gravity Extended - It's a 2D platform game. To be honest I don't think it's good, really. It's boring, there's basically no plot, you just jump on platforms and you're using gravity to aid yourself in this tideous endeavour. Controlling the character when under the control of gravity is really annoying and it's hard to do what you want to do because of that. Graphics are not interesting at all. Music isn't bad. But the gameplay is boring and tideus. It's not a terrible game but it's not good either.

Despair - I don't understand how this even got on Steam. It's so terrible words can't express it. But let's see: You're constantly going forward through hideous places, you collect very cryptic notes written by a child (I refuse to believe adults would do that), blue bar at the bottom of the screen looks like a bug of some kind but no, no, it's actually a stamina bar. You walk more and more, most of the time in the shafts which are long as hell and after a while you run out of flashlight batteries and you're basically fucked. That was the point when I said "enough". Oh, and once you collect some things there will be a russian word written in the left upper corner. Yes, russian even though my language was set to "english". I have no words, just stay away from this, for your own good.

Afterfall Insanity - (Not because it was boring but because it seems broken) I made it to Chapter 20.
There's this scene where you are being chased down an alley. You can only move forward (which since it's going towards the bottom of the screen feels backwards.) You can use your fire button to shoot the guys behind you to slow them down and kill them.
You pass another alleyway where this big ogre man runs out and chases you. You have to outrun him, eventually he gets stuck behind a grate fence but he breaks through and you are stuck waiting to defend yourself at the dead end. (the wait isn't long, it all happens very fast.) Then the ogre guy comes up and my gun no longer works. My character is trying to gun slap him. This doesn't seem to hurt him much. He crushes me and I die. (I've done this maybe 50 times now)
I looked for you tube videos and walk-through. In the videos the gun works. It must be a bug. It's going to keep me from finishing the game. I tried a few fixes and nothing worked. I considered a god mode for this one part, not sure if one exists or if this violates the rules on steam (with there being achievements and all...) It's frustrating. I put a lot of time into the game... I'll try something no matter how many times I have to, if I know it can be done... but unless it's something I'm doing wrong it might be impossible.

These are games I can only play in short sentences without screaming

Tiny and Big: Grandpas Leftovers = I can only play for 30 minutes without getting really bored. It's a shame, since it's a very well made 3D puzzler

Woodle Tree Adventures = Hair pullingly boring 3D platformer, not worth it even though it was free

Don't Starve = I can only play in hour bursts because of how bored I become with the crafting system

Dishonored = While I do love this game I could only complete 5 hours because of how tedious and repetitive it became

Amnesia = Not because it's "too scary" but because the game gets repetitive quickly

Five Nights at Freddy's 1-4 = Same as Amnesia

The only games i've 100% completed in my Steam Library are The Walking Dead: Season 1 and 2

Super Cyborg - It's basically Contra 2.0 and yes, it is good. It's very hard though (you have 4 lives per level) so it's not for everyone.

Hyphen - I don't know if I'll ever finish it. It's not even a difficult game. It's a RAGE game. Basically you float a constantly rotating line (a hyphen) and you have to omit obstacles and reach the finish line safely. You have a few checkpoints per level but trust me, those don't help much. Extremely hard game, I doubt I'll ever finish it (not for the lack of trying).

The Emptiness: Deluxe Edition - This is a terrible hidden object adventure game. Everything in it is very cheap, gameplay is horrible and boring, most of the time you don't know what you're supposed to do (there is no indication as to where you can click) and the whole experience is just tideous and bad. I'm a huge fan of both hidden object and adventure games but I had to turn this one off after a few minutes cause it was unbearable.

Bioshock and Bio shock 2 never got round to them yet.

All the splintercell games i got in a bundle 2 or 3 summers sales ago.

Skyrim....love to mod it and mess about with it but the main quest line and story is so boring I never bothered with it.

FFXIII-2 after forcing myself to play FFXIII i can't look at another FF game lol

Farcry and Farcry 2 liked them but shooters get boring lol

The last remnant got boring trying to use KB+M might try again with pad one day.
