List your games that you've put hours of gameplay but still couldn't finish it after weeks or months since start because how boring it was.

Here's mine:

Deus Ex Human revolution - boring storyline and setting, gameplay is too repetitive.EDIT: I finished it :D

Just Cause 2 - bad storyline, bad driving engine

Darksiders - just boring

Final Fantasy VII - stuck at Chocobo Quest

Super Hexagon - It's too damn hard! EDIT: Finished it recently :D

It's not that I can't finish them, but it would take me ages to do so:
Mount & Blade
Super Meat Boy

Bit.Trip Beat - It's basically a rhythmic pong in space. But the flashing colors make the game so annoying and playing is tiresome. And music isn't even that good (compared to Electronic Super Joy or Soundodger+). I got to the half of the second chapter and I decided to stop playing. It's not worth it. It's not a terrible game though, just average.

Soundodger+ - It can't be finished I guess, you can just unlock every level. It's a nice game but not really for me. You basically have to omit obstacles in a circle while there's music playing in the background. Obstacles appear according to the rhythm in a given track. It's a very well made games so if you're into such stuff make sure to give it a go. Oh and music is very good and there's a lot of tracks available.

Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe - I'm not bent on finishing it but I might do that. It's not a game that you want to play all the time since it's more of a "survival". It's a tetris meets a platform shooter kind of game, it's pretty original. It's fast, good looking with great music. I really can't say anything bad about it. It's addictive. You just want to play "one more time" over and over again. But like I previously said it's more of a game when you play every few hours for a few minutes. Still, it's good and I enjoy it. Maybe I'll finish it in the future, so far I got to the fourth level.

Super Lemonade Factory - This one is tideous as hell. You have to control both characters (not at once although you may do that as well) and get them both to finish line in every level. It's boring, graphics are not very good (even for pixel art) and the game's locked in 30 FPS or even lower which means it doesn't run smooth at all and it's something I utterly hate in video games. A word about music, well, it's annoying. It's not a good game. I guess it's not terrible either but it's pretty bad.

Color Symphony - It looks interesting but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I know it's free but that doesn't mean the game is good. It's similar to Nihilumbra but worse in every possible way. Controlling the character gets annoying after a while, it takes him a lot of time to get up after he's been hit and later it's just about blindly jumping around, changing colors and hoping for the best. Not my idea of fun.

Divekick - Well, you can't really finish this game unless you count beating story with every character as finishing a game. Anyway, it's a good one. Great if you have friends over. Basically you use two buttons (one to jump and one to kick) and you have to strike your opponent before he strikes you. It's really fun.

Shiny The Firefly - You fly around as a firefly and "collect" your babies. Obviously you also have to omit obstacles and optionally you can collect money. It's not a bad game but it's boring. Also, controls are not good. But the game is not bad so if you like such games you might want to give it a shot.

World Of Goo - You build stuff of goo. This game is very well received by people but I can't get into it. It bores me. Also it seems most of the game is about luck. It's not bad though so if you like puzzle games then go for it.

The Bridge - It's a puzzle game based on different perspectives and rotating the screen in order to affect objects and protagonist. It's really good if you like to rack your brains. I'm not in the mood for such logical games right now so I'm gonna pass on this one.

Well, there are plenty of games which I have tried and just did not like and did not give them more than an hour. But there are also some which I have been playing for years now and have not finished.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent - as much as I like movie horrors, I have trouble with games. Not that I do not like them, but playing them is kinda stressing for me. Usually I play this amazing game for an hour and then forget about it for a month or two. It has been 2-3 years since I have started playing this one.

Assassin's Creed II - I really thought I could finish this one (finished the original one), however I just find the gameplay dull and even the great surroundings cannot save it. I got as far as finishing Venice but no more.

Bastion - I really am going to finish it. I just had to stopp playing due to some hardware issues and never got back to it. And wherever I do not finish SP game which I really like without disctractions of other games, I just take too long since I have trouble getting back into it.

Bioshock Infinite - Pretty much the same problem as AC II.

Dark Souls - I loved this game so much, played it non stop for couple of weeks but then I got stuck (Knight Artorias) took a break from the game and never got back. I still have hopes for finishing this one.

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion - I really want to like TES games, but I just cannot, or at least not Oblivion. Tried to start playing it three times already, never got over 10 hours.

Eschalon Book II - I am sad about this one, I was pretty far into game (3/4) when I suffered a save files corruption bug. My other savefile being about 3 hours behind the actual one has proven being too much for me too handle. I would really like to finish this one since I want to start playing Eschalon Book III, but I will probably just end up reading up on the rest of the story of II.

There are more, but this is enough for today. Thanks for reading. :P

I think that gameplay of World of Goo is sooo random and could have been way better. I played it around 20 minutes and got tired as hell lol.

BioShock 2 - It was a huge disappointment after BS1 so I played Infinite instead and I loved it. Maybe I'll finish it some day.

Daylight - Boring

Skyrim - In medias res

Lichdom - Borefest (BOREFEST, because I can't stress it enough)

Shadowrun: DF - In medias res

Sniper Elite 3 - In medias res

Transistor - In medias res

Wasteland 2 - gamebreaking quest bug (nice QA there Inxile)

Watch_Dogs - Played for 10 mins on release, never touched it again. (Though I really like the genre and it's not really a bad game but I just can't find the will to play it)

I've logged 265 hours in Fallout Vegas, and haven't even made it to Vegas yet. It's not boring ,it's just a big world. :) My family keeps asking if I've made it to Vegas yet, so its kinda become a joke that I may never make it there.

Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures - Well, it's nice to play but I'm not bent on finishing it. It's hard as hell, trust me. Too hard. Play only if you love very hard platform games or if you're a masochist.

If a game finds its way into my library, I'll bring myself to finish it. That's why I choose carefully which games I add.

Exceptions are DiRT 3 and Mortal Kombat Kollection which have GFWL. I should've known better.

Bioshock- lost my save 3 times, but finally beat it after 23h.
Fallout NV- Lost 20h save. I finished it in another 70h, but almost died from boredom.
Witcher 1- booring side quests force me to abandon this game. I'll try to end this in near future.

Spy Chameleon: RGB Agent - I've beaten over 25 levels. It's a good and well polished stealth game but I'm not really bent on finishing it. Might do it, might not do it, we'll see. But if you're into stealth games then go for it, there's a big chance you'll like it.

Akane The Kunoichi - Pretty poor platform game. Feels like a browser game to be honest. Controlling the character is awkward, wall jumping is poorly executed, level design is not interesting at all and the whole experience is rather boring. It's below average. Probably won't finish it cause it's a waste of time.
