List your games that you've put hours of gameplay but still couldn't finish it after weeks or months since start because how boring it was.

Here's mine:

Deus Ex Human revolution - boring storyline and setting, gameplay is too repetitive.EDIT: I finished it :D

Just Cause 2 - bad storyline, bad driving engine

Darksiders - just boring

Final Fantasy VII - stuck at Chocobo Quest

Super Hexagon - It's too damn hard! EDIT: Finished it recently :D

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix - I'll be blunt - fuck EA Games. On my PC I had around 20 FPS (maybe even less) and it was unplayable. I tried playing in windowed mode, I tried changing settings to low - nothing works. I can't get it to run smoothly no matter what. On another PC I couldn't even run it because some error messages popped up. Great work EA. Really great work. I couldn't finish fourth one cause it was terrible, this one can't work properly so it's two Harry Potter games I haven't finished but wanted to. Oh well, time to move on to the rest I guess.

Ampu-Tea - Very tideous and boring. I can't even make a cup of coffee. Controlling the hand is terrible.

Surgeon Simulator 2013 - Is it just me or is controlling the hand very tideous and annoying? Too tideous for me to try and play this more. Meh.

unfortunately anti chamber and mirror's edge are my banes, i liked the games but after ten minutes i start to get nauseous and feel physically sick. it's a shame because they are both such great games.
i've been playing them in small chunks but it totally kills the immersion

Dat darksiders 1.. And then Blade of time. I think the game was ok, but the final boss level bugged so that every time you tried to do a normal attack it started charging buggily a special attack and then you died. Fun.

Saints Row 2, since it cannot run. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, since it crashes every time the Prince dies and I make the Prince die very frequently.

Probably Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas, the two of my most played games on Steam. By pattern, I reach a certain point when I get bored and stop playing. When I want to play again I roll a new character (especially for Skyrim). Just thinking of playing it again and going through those first few quest already makes me sick, I've repeated that shit for tens of times that I know almost every piece of the dialogue.

Far Cry 2, but only because I don't have the mood for single players lately. Oh, and Skyrim. Never managed to finish Dawnguard or even start Dragoborn... But whatever.

Almost all of them, I like steam for its multiplayer availability. I have over 220+ games, and a lot of them are single player.

Metro: Last Light - Tower Pack DLC - 5 "challenge" type of missions without any real plot. They are very and I mean very hard. If they were story driven missions I would definitely beat them but I'm not a fan of challenge missions so after beating two of them I decided to just stop playing. If you like challenges and you are good at FPS games then you will love it.

Metro: Last Light - Developer Pack DLC - By "haven't finished" I mean I haven't completed any of the challenges. They are so boring. But I've finished the extra Spider Lair SP mission. It's pretty cool.

Canyon Capers - After a few levels it quickly becomes very, very boring. Basically in every level you just have to collect stuff. There's also no story and all levels are closed so, like I said before, it becomes quickly fast. But it's not terrible. Just boring.

Witcher 2

  • I think my graphics card or my overall specs couldn't handle it (NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450, 4.00GB Ram, 3.10GHz Processor). I had all settings at medium or below but the game lagged on me.

Skyrim

  • I restarted the game so much because of the mods I installed which opened up new character builds. In the end, I tired myself out.

Jade Empire: The actual game itself is really good but the port to PC was a nightmare.

Dead Island: The game itself feels very weird to me and i dont know why.

The Harvest: A poor attempt at what could have been something awesome.

A Valley Without Wind 1&2: The Mechanics to both these games are confusing to me.

Puzzle Quest 2: Half the times its like playing DOTA 2 where you fight for 30 minutes and everything just falls apart at the end.

Resident Evil 5: I have to read up on guides for the reason why it crashes but it just loves to for me.

Earth 2160: I refuse to acknowledge its existence.

Sniper Elite V2, Overall just boring. I left playing when the game told me to take out a freaking Panzer IV with a sniper rifle. I thought it was going to be a stealth game.
Just Cause 2, The sandbox mode is too damn fun and distracting.
Half-Life 2 Ep1, Beat all the other Half-Life Games, couldn't be bothered wit this one for some reason I don't remember.
Men of War Condemned Heroes and Red Tide, because Assault Squad is way better than both
GTA IV, Because I have spent 24 Hours and the missions are still "Drive from A to B and occasionaly shoot some guys".
Also, a bunch of indie games from bundles, mostly platformers.

i tried dead bits and man am i glad it was a bundle game

on the other hand Xcom declassified was a big let down and i have yet to finish it but i would say it is not as bad as dead bits man that sounded like fun but really was not lol i am not a fan of turned based so i had hoped that X-Com Declassified would be decent but i guess i was wishing in one hand and shitting in the other and guess what i came up with lol

Ethan: Meteor Hunter - I finished the first chapter and I enjoyed it. But in the second one the puzzles were getting annoying (especially the ones with stacking of pieces of wood and metal) and I decided to stop playing. I enjoyed the platform elements but some of the puzzles are just annoying. It's not a bad game though, if you like platform puzzle games then give it a shot. But it's not an easy game.

Radical Roach: Deluxe Edition - Very boring game with annoying flaws. It has controller support but you can't use analog stick(s) to move around, you can't skip cutscenes, sometimes you just die without any reason which is annoying and there are no volume controls. You can't even turn the music/sounds off which sucks because I want to collect cards from this game and I'll be stuck with the damn music for over 2 hours. Anyway, I don't recommend it. One of the worst indie games I've played lately.

Pixel Hunter - One of the worst games ever created, period. I don't even know where to start. You just jump and shoot all the time, you can't control how high you jump which often leads to you running into bullets. Some enemies you encounter won't jump before you jump. So every time you jump they also jump. And remember you can't control how high you jump which means they jump and shoot when you jump so you're bound to hit their bullets almost all the time. Graphics are terrible. Level design doesn't exist. 80% of levels is just ground with a tree there and a bush over there and the rest 20% is platforms floating in the air. That's it. There's basically no story but even story wouldn't save this terrible game. And there's no controller support. This game should have never been released on Steam. Terrible game.
