I'm not sure what kind of gamer I am.
I thought i enjoy more casual stuff lately, and enjoyed one game in particular - Helldivers. Bugged everyone at work to play with me (put it on our ps4 in chill room) only to find out its not that easy. Then on internet i read it is actually hardcore game.
I did enjoy one truly hardcore game - Dwarf Fortress. But it requires a lot of knowledge to enjoy imo, so when you take a longer break you have to relearn and learn updated stuff so yeah.... maybe later.

Seems like you do tend to enjoy playing a lot more hardcore games than most :P
I guess a better and perhaps easier way of determining which group you fall into is to know the kind of gaming behaviour/habits you're more inclined to and your level of dedication to the types of games you play. Honestly, I think the classification is mainly determined based on your playing behavior rather than just the genres you enjoy per se. So if you do play games 24/7, like literally, then I'd say you're as hardcore as it gets :P

Okay, anyway.. which kind of gamer.. well I love competitions, sometimes I play to reach great levels, and sometimes i spend lot of time on singleplayer games, and I also love high difficulties; infact, in SP games I usually choose the highest difficuly.. so i would define myself as a Hardcore gamer :P
