i believe that the quality of the game correlates the effort on the giveaway, you can see this on the SA you did, valkyria is a great game, where the cave is ok-ish.
i probably entered some GA and just clicked enter, but the GA that have games i REALLY want to play i entered, read everything and said ty, and a few ones i even discussed something.

Sadly my similar experiments had the same results (though I haven't blacklisted anybody), 90% of the people simply don't read descriptions on public GAs... at least those who did, had some more chance to win "hidden" GAs there.
Still I'm disappointed by the low participation rate..
