For me it was Remember Me. I was putting it off to play as long as I can remember, mainly due to rather underwhelming reviews, but I have to say I really enjoyed it and it turned out to be great gaming experience. The art is simply beautiful, neo-classic-cyberpunk Paris, awesome soundtrack and even story was decent.

So, what's yours? Is there any game you really want to play but keep backlogging it for unknown reasons? Or a game that you are enjoying/enjoyed more than you were expecting?

Strangely enough, it was a hidden object game called Nightmares of the Deep 2: The Siren's Call. The first game in the series was pretty fun, and I liked it enough to play twice for 100% achievements. The second one I actually played a third time, then played the extra content that unlocked. After the first couple HOGs that I played, I sort of assumed they were all a bit geared towards cheesey stories and bad voice acting (in a good, B-movie way if that makes sense), but this one I actually really liked the story and characters. More than looking forward to getting on later and playing the third in the series.

Steins;Gate. Probably the best VN I've ever played. And perhaps, all time.

A bit late but hey I completed it 100%.

Gemini Rue. I really loved everything about the game, especially the storyline, voice acting and atmosphere. It's hard to believe that it was basically done by just one student.

CS:GO Because I unboxed a knife... TY GABEN
Well, if that doesn't count then Cupid the Free to play Visual Novel.
And that's because of the amount of content and great art for a free game.

Just finished the story mode of Hand of Fate. I was kind of anxious since the last few rogue-lites I played kind of didn't do it for me, but man, this game is fantastic! Can't wait to continue with endless mode now. (Also Hand of Fate 2 is on the way, yay!)
