Do You Still Play Pokemon??

I'll be 25 next month and don't have time to play cause of adult responsibilities. Eventually I'll pick up whatever the latest game is and be a real pokemaster.

Yes I recently finished the third generation.

Have not much time to waste in this series anymore, I have still to finish SoulSilver.

Got Blue the day it came out.

Was playing Black 2 last night.

Nope, it's not weird! Plan on buying a 3DS just to play Pokemon X and Y though :P

I'm about to turn 18 and I still enjoy them like when I was a child. Pokémon X/Y is probably the game I'm most excited about this year.

Stopped caring after my old Game Boy Color died. Maybe I'll get back into them one day through an emulator.

I played the first four generations only.

No. I stopped playing it around 13 or 14, right as gen 2 came out. I did play leaf green though.

First pokemon game I played was ruby and I didn't know any of those pokemons, the characters or the possible legendary pokemons. I only watched the first pokemon generation on TV. It was a pretty nice game.

Then I watched someone else play and I said to myself: "It's the same game!"

And I kinda got on my head that "if you play one pokemon game, you played all of them". Sure some thing change but not that much...

Also I was looking for a monster raising game at that time (like digimon world 1 and monster rancher) and pokemon is much more an RPG.

I'd still play, but it's been so long since I did that I'm so far behind. I just can't afford to go buy all the handhelds I'd need and all the games.

i played pokemon gold when i was 9, 10.
now i play pokemon cristal. I will always play the 2nd Generation

I only played gen 1 and 2 when i was still a kid. Only owned Pokemon Red and Gold.
I visited the series from time to time though to raise up nostalgia feeling. Played roms a little on emulator, games such as pearl and black. Didn't get far though, never even reached all the gyms as usually the interest wore out due no friends who played the game too. After all it is the community around you that makes the game fun, without it the game will be a bore.
These days I play PokeMMO from time to time with friends. It is still in babyshoes and misses all the most interesting features of the series. But I visit it from time to time and keeping tabs.

The question implies that I actually played Pokémon at one point or another.

Well, actually I did, I still have a copy of the original Blue one here somewhere, I think. Last time I played it was at around 2000 or 2001, the game is just too grindy for me.
