I last played Crystal two years ago. It's still a good game, in my opinion.
I remember liking Trading Card Game on the GB but I don't know if I'd play it again now.

Sort of. I play Gens I-III and the remakes of Gen II created during Gen IV, but Gen IV, V and (from what I've seen) VI have turned me off.

Crystal was the last game I played before stopping. That would have been near the end of my middle school days. (Saying that makes me feel old!) But I also played the card game, watched the show semi-obsessively, and saw the first three movies in theaters. It's a large part of my childhood that I sadly, and suddenly, dropped for whatever reason, but now at 22, I've been going through a bout of nostalgia and decided to download a few emulators. I just haven't had the time to start up some good ole Red and Blue and work my way into the (for me) unknown territories of Black and White. :-)

I've played at least one game from every generation, although I've never really beaten any of them except for Red, Silver, and Platinum. I'm kind of hoping X/Y brings me back into the games again, I lost interest badly after Black/White was released, the whole Dreamworld thing...meh. I'm hoping they give us a cool gimmick like the pokewalker again, I really despise Dreamworld. What's going to decide if I really get into this generation is most likely going to be the gimmick more than the game itself, if the only way I have to get rare pokemon or pokemon from old games is some hour long tedium event again I'm most likely going to pass.

I liked 1st gen, never really cared much about it beyond that, except for a certain few like Pichu, Teddiursa and Ryolu.

I'm 31 and I still play Pokémon, I currently own Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon White Version 2. I've been playing them since 1998 when Pokémon Red & Blue first released I started with a Game Boy Color & Pokémon Red Version back then.

I'm 29 and still play pokemon. I preordered Black Version 2 even. I've been playing since the series started and will continue to do so with X and Y versions when they come out this october. The last game I played on my 3DS is Black 2 and its currently the cartridge in my 3DS. I imagine I'll be playing pokemon until either the franchise ends or I do. =p

Well, why not, it's still a great game, it's not like it's gone bad over years. I like the new Pokemon designs less, but the gameplay is still fun. It's not weird to play to play it at this age, I'm 20, and why would I stop enjoying something that I enjoyed as a kid :D

Pokémon games are RPG games with a lot of strategy involved. I don't play anymore but I still might grab the games of the last two generations someday (which I haven't touched yet).

Just because something looks like its meant for childs, it doesn't mean you can't play it.
If you want to play it, play it and stop worrying yourself about it!

And eat some crunchy cookies! They are warm and sweet!

pokemon is a complicated strategie game - maybe it looks like it is designed for children but it's truly strategy and maths. about 10 years ago i really enjoyed playing pokemon, train a little creature, filling the pokedex and comparing myself with friends. it was a great time i dont wanna miss. nowadays i like to grab an old game and play it a few hours (i REALLY enjoy it) but pokemon is a long term game - not like cod you can play a few rounds and quit. no, it takes time. and that is the only reason why i stopped playing it :)

My first ever gaming device was a gameboy colour and my first ever game was Pokemon red. This made me who I am today.
I do not play anymore but, if I had time I would definitely give it another run!

I barley play the games anymore. I still own a decent amount of them but don't have the desire to go back to them unless friends want to test stuff out or otherwise. I do some Pokemon-online every now and again but there isn't that much of a challenge there for me. The TCG is something else though. I'm part of a close local community of players, but I'm currently on hiatus from that due to the stupidity of the power creep. Might jump back in when the fat pack hits in a few days.

My DS broke so not anymore, but I remember when catching Mewtwo in a luxury ball was one of the happiest 10 minutes of my life.

I was I think a teenager when Pokemon became the rage. I had little interest in it. I did not care for the art style and I probably thought that it would become something like Dragonball, constant battles where only those who evolve/power-up win. But I think it was mostly because I just lost interest in cartoons in general.

Never played the games either.

Played all versions through the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald series. I got all the Pokeman on my Sapphire version. They are really enjoyable games. I don't much care for the new ones though.
