I can feel you so much right now. The goal to graduate is hard to achieve but when you do, party like there is no tomorrow.
And don't make the same mistake I did. Don't go for PhD. Its modern slavery and it will crush your life in a very bad way. I hope myself to finish up this year but in life science everything can happen anytime.
I wish you all the best success (because luck is only necessary when you don't work hard ;D).
I would go for Horizon Forbidden West (changed yet again due to sales temptation that got the best of me).
But since its not released yet on steam I choose "God of War" until the next steam sale or factory day make this wish also obsolet.

Thank you for your wonderful words and for your hints. I will follow blindly your suggestion about PhD. I have to be honest with myself and after the bechelor degree my will to study decreased exponentually... Actually I just want to "change air" and find a good place to work:

If you have already contacts, which is great, hold onto them with your life! On hand experience is in many fields much more valueable then a raw degree.
Always remember, what many people forget, the universal degrees should give you a broad basis and the more you go with your studies the narrow and specialised it will become. So if you have the chance to get a job early on its more beneficial then later, because if you are hyper specilized the field of job offers becomes also as narrow as that.
Anyway, I am happy for you and wish you the willpower to fight through (and to get a wage that we all other would droll over) ;D

I have nothing to add...you exactly got the point! The more you go ahead and the more you become specialized...which is not so bad but neither so good. But it's hard to say...
It will be more clear after my working experience, but you will know when it will be :D For now, I just go for free to learn something and I'm fine with that since it's the field I want to work in.
You will definitely see me again around Steamgifts if the wage allows me to make someone happy :D

Just to prove me right (or wrong? Its hard to tell), my doctor father took his sweet time with grading my thesis. 7 month to be exact. And after that time he just complained about not having all analysis in the thesis, which is funny because he discarded those analysis as "stupid and not helpful" in earlier progress reports. So after 2 month were I overhault the whole damn thing again, I will summon murphy by saying "I hope I finish up this year".
As 2022 is not already the shittiest year since a long time ^^;
But I believe since your studies go well, you have a much better time than me. As I can see it you make steady progress. Only 9 points left till you are on the finish line with your internship and the thesis. You can do it! :)

As I wrote in another comment, in reality, I am taking 3 years to complete a 2-years master's...I started it on February 2020 and I opened the thread during September at the lowest point of my mental health...without bringing me bad luck, everything should be in the right place at the end of the third year of my start :)

Nobody will care how long you took for doing the master. The important part is, that you finish, and you WILL make it. And since you already have connections into your sector, you have already completed the most difficulte steps. Now you just need to cross the finish line :D

Hot update. From my last post down below I wrote "hopefully I have my defense on the 20th". Well look at the date. I finished the defense a few hours ago and boy, finishing such a long aweful journey feels gooooooood.
So power up! I believe in you. If I manage to defend this PhD you can graduate in no time!

To be honest, I have been very (VERY) lucky...I and my family have not been touched so much by the Covid because my parents never stopped to work and we have not been infected. Moreover, I like to stay at home so the lockdown was not even a problem for me...instead, after the first months of stabilization (which also led to my current situation, but not exclusively) I used the home time to study hard (not always in the more efficient way but it's another story)

It is so sweet to hear a son helping his father. Fortunately, I have a supportive family and for sure I'll devote my results to my parents during my graduation date. If I had the chance to study and run for my dreams, it is even because they were always near me.

I had some colleagues in the Masters who were not going to be able to finish their dissertation on time and so they "locked" the course (I don't know if this expression exists in other places, but it's like you paused the course). Now they are calmly finishing the research and will only return when the work can be presented.

nope, I had to stop it completly because of personal medical problems. The subject is time sensitive, it's for a course of 2022 and so will be continued by other students.
if I want to finnish my grade I should take a new subject=another year

Pretty the same...I have to prepare a work/project based on a specific topic I previously chose. However, the impact of this work on the overall grade is minimal. The starting point is given by the weighted average of the grade of each exam weighted for the ECTs...the number obtained by this weighted average is between 18 and 30. Then it is converted by multiplying by 11 and dividing by 3 to obtain a number between 66 and 110. The system adds all the "laude" eventually obtained, increasing the ground of some decimals.
At the final number, you have to add the points of the thesis which are between 0 and 7+. If you get a final grade of 113+ you obtain the laude.

In my final year doing my Masters, I don't recall being able to play any games. It was just stress all the way finishing off my thesis.
Hoping it's not the same for you, but hoping you get there in the end, without too much fuss.
If I'd have to pick a game, I'd be stuck between Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2. I have most of the others I really want to play, so it's not an easy choice to be very specific. :)

If I could pick any game to be gifted, I would have to go with any good indie game I don't already own. I want to say Dead Cells since I only owned it on PSN, no longer own a PS4, and loved it, and I also want to say Spelunky 2 since I sort of liked the first game, at least enough to be interested in the sequel, but my final answer would be The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, since I owned the original BoI and never managed to purchase the remake that all of the DLC ended up being based on. At this point it's almost too late to buy it but it's also a shame I don't own it since I claim to love indie games so much.

I just wish I could make up my mind on how to spend the 15 bucks in my Steam Wallet right now. So far this Summer Sale I've gone with purchases that are nowhere near what I was thinking before the sale started. I had 50 bucks and was thinking about buying like 5 or more indie hits I don't yet own, mostly games that are between 5 and 10 bucks US. And instead I went with two AAA titles one of which wasn't even half off and when it comes to the seasonal sales my default shopping pattern is to start by looking at the discounts that are 75% off and above. Resident Evil 3 and Zombie Army 4 were the games and I loved and played the hell out of the other games in both franchises and knew I'd love both.
And as for what I have left, I'm doing the exact same thing, I'm looking at the complete Dead Cells at 20 bucks and I already know I love the game and yet I'm still debating on whether I should instead buy multiple games with the same amount of money. This is what I'm thinking about...

Important notes!
Since the studies are going quite well, I would like to add some new notes to this thread. In particular, I would inform you that the exams account for a total of 90 ECTs out of 120. The remaining 30 are split between an internship (6 ECTs) and the thesis (24 ECTs). At the end of the 90 ECTs linked to the exams, I will be able to anticipate if multiple winners will be picked (it will depend on my estimated graduation mark).

Dear guys...my journey has come to an end...I finally did it. Now that everything is completed, I can officially say that I received the honors from the commission for my grades and the thesis. I want to thank my parents, my brothers, and my girlfriend, who helped me to stay focused and supported me through the whole academic path.
