Yes, I did it once.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did 3 days ago. I had Fallout (the first one) in my wishlist, and I entered without checking. When I won, I had to doublecheck, of course. So, even though I would prefer to have the entire series on Steam, it didn't seem right not to ask for a re-roll.

yes - when I realized there was absolutely zero chance I'd ever play the game

On topic; I didn't. However, when I happen to win a game with rather bad reviews I force the masochist-me to try it out just for the sake of having won it.
In the end, I have at least a good laugh at how bad games can be, and the few minutes aren't wasted. Some seemingly bad games aren't really that bad gameplay wise, it's often just the presentation, controls or graphics that make it awful. Also, someone has to play them to make reasonable reviews.

Is this the real life

As I said on page 1, I looked at the "I'm a potato anyway" as "Not lucky enough to win but can see it happening"

Why re-roll when you can re-gift? That way you both get CV!
Do not re-gift

I've never asked for a re-roll because I was no longer interested in the game itself, but I have requested re-rolls in cases where I've ended up buying the game and then shortly thereafter winning it.

I always searched my entered entries after buying bundles, in fear that I'd win a game I already own and getting suspended.
Only after some time I realized that asking for a re-roll is nothing bad.

No, but I can think of at least two times that I should have, but was fairly new to Steamgifts and didn't really know that was an option.

le bump! I haven't asked for a reroll but just because I've been lucky:

  • Entered to meet the 5 entries to someone else's GA but haven't won
  • Won a region locked game but the creator decided to delete the GA and gifted me the key to make my own GA anyway (instant whitelist)

I asked before, I miss-recognized a pre-order game as an old one (with same name and different sub-title) and won.
I asked for re-roll because I don't have a good enough hardware to run the new one XD

Yes, twice because I decided to not want the game
and 2 or 3 times when I've just won the same game and forgot to unenter the others (or wasn't online at the time of winning the same game multiple times).

Yeah. I entered a Witcher III giveaway that was running for a while, got a PC during that time that included a copy of it (non-steam though), and kinda forgot about it until I won that giveaway. So yeah, no need for me to accept that win if I already own the game.

Twice.
One time I ended up purchasing the game after I entered and forgot to revoke my entry and the other time I entered a game by mistake ^^

Reroll for any reasons? Yes. Reroll because I am not interested in the game I won? No since it's a waste of time for all parties involved.

I'd just download and play the game (though sometimes I forget), and if I don't like it I'd leave it.

Hahaha, winning, that's not what I do :D :) :| :( :,(
I suppose it could be possible if I won the same game in a very short time period, but otherwise I only enter GAs for games I really want to play. It hasn't happened yet.

I won the same game, twice, from the same guy no less, in about a 15min window.
These days I'm safe from not entering games I'm interested in, all I do is check my wishlist page to save time.. need to go back to browsing all the entries again lol

Yes. Once I changed my mind about a bundle that I'd previously decided not to buy but forgot to remove myself from giveaways for games in that bundle. The next day I won one of them and requested a reroll as I'd bought it already.

Yeah, it happened to me few times when I win two gibs of the same game.
I did ask for reroll just recently, but I did not get the answer from the creator, so I have two not marked as recieved ga's cause if that first person won't reroll (there were only 4 entries and 3 copies), I'd have to ask the other person even though they've already sent a key.
