There are some quite nice suggestions. I will start to contact them in the next couple of days, probably more like on the weekend.

Everyone I thought of didn't quite meet the <8 years or >50% public gibs requirement, but it's nice to see the most active members and gifters 'get their flowers'.

Here's a recap of all the nominees so far. The current count is 27 heroes. Still plenty of room to grow! The last event had 72 candidates.

I really appreciate their friendly and somewhat very humble presence here.

Not following the forum much outside of the puzzle/event section, DrTenma and MBcoder come to mind.
The 1st had a really nice streak with his monthly jigidi event for years (let alone the high value of the games given away). A good chunk of his invite only GAs comes from there.
The 2nd was behind most of the drawing contests we had on the site (not considering the xmas ones).

I would like to nominate AtomicBlonde. Creator of Steamgifts Magazine and amazing person in general, always nice and cordial.

I'm surprised that Johamburger hasn't been nominated so far, so I'd like to do so.

75% of his giveaways are public/private and he has an impressive ratio. He registered 10 years ago but I believe he was inactive for 7 of those. He came back with a vengeance 9 months ago and has been sharing high quality giveaways and making cool discussion threads ever since.

I admire his consistency, generosity and the fact that he's trying to create interesting content. I would definitely feel his absence if he were gone.

first that comes to my (hellaconfused)mind is Pizza (gotta search for link: https://www.steamgifts.com/user/TrevLovesPizza). and all the folks that, still being Unluckies they're already sharing games in the U7 Group. this is something i see as an hero thing.

It is great to see another one of these, it was a great honor to be nominated the first time.
I love seeing so many old users still kicking around and getting nominated, just for enduring and staying so generous you deserve praise, public or not.

A friendly and generous person who's relatively new and deserves more chances to win. They've gifted 271 games in their brief 6 months here, 200+ of which were public or invite, and won very few. They fall a bit short of the 50% threshold if calculating by CV, but I'd argue that most of their group giveaways are done with no expectation of profit to fairly accessible groups like Unlicky-7, QGG companion or SG Monthly Magazine.

They've also been active in discussions and even gave us a little tricky puzzle :)

I'd love to see sleepythehamster rewarded for their generosity and for them to continue being an excellent member of this community.
