Opening your wallet for this Humble Monthly?
It turned out I'm really absolutely totally lost when it comes to total war games. I messed around for a bit but I just can't get to grips with the realtime battling thing.
Still, given how awesome last month's preorder game was, I have no qualms just acting like I've paid $24 for that! There also always happens to be at least one good game among the rest, so here's hoping we'll get something real cool

Remember that you can pause at any time during the battles. You can still give troops orders and whatnot while paused.

I forgot to cancel, so got surprise TW:Warhammer sometime last week. Didn't really regret it, so don't actually mind the rest of the games are unknown to me. Might still be decent. I think it was to be expected that there wouldn't be very big names in addition to TW:WH.

I don't like the early unlock, but I can still understand that it's not trash. The other ones are trash though. :P

Depends on how you view it. Monthlys need to be seen as a taste of everything from multiple different genres and they seem to pick the best from these groups. This however leads to the issue of whether or not you like these niche genres or not.
From profit? Warhammer sells for more than the bundle itself and One Piece will add to that so not at all.
Imo, the first one was the worst. Great games, but everyone already owned them and peeps bitched like no tomorrow because of it.

Heh, I predicted your comment. :P They still look trash to me. The early unlock wasn't trash, but it was not as "sellable" as some previous early unlocks. I doubt that One Piece can be sold, but I don't really know.

Sr4, Valkyria Chronicles, Legend of Grimrock 2 and a few others I can remembe atm. On mobile so I can't be assed to check.
I didn't own Warhammer so I didn't bother but peeps were offering to buy the monthly for others if the trader kept Warhammer. Must have sold well enought to justify that. One Piece will sell easily enough though not instantly. The rest are ... not as desirable.
Rive looks awesome, but it is still very much an unknown. I just know of it since I make it my business to learn about every lil game on Steam :p.
I remember you mentioned selling on Kinguin way back. Do you have a vendor account or are you a community seller (I think that is the term they use) there? It does make a difference since vendor accounts tend to be more "trust worthy".

I sell through a friend's account. He has a vendor account, with feedback and such. ;P The community sellers are the ones without feedback or anything, right?

Kinda yes. Community sellers are the ones who are not "verified". There rep is shown as hollowed stars rather than the full yellow ones for vendors.
My suggestion wold be to undercut the lowest vendor account by no more than .50$ and wait. You'll still manage to sell at your price when someone is looking for the cheapest copy from a reliable source. The more established sellers there still sell their stuff at the higher price point because of their rep, so you have to be the guy inbetween super cheap and defiantly won't get revoked in a week :p.

Yeah, but when it got into the bundle, people wouldn't obviously manage to sell it for 30 euros or something. The game has some fans, but the previous early unlocks were far better, I think.

Absolutely, the two minimalist titles alone (Flat Hero's and Morphblade) are things I would expect on indiegala, not HB monthly. Super disappointing after all the other things we've seen HB produce.
