If the Illuminati were the force some make them out to be, it would require the world's most powerful people to get along to a degree which is practically unprecedented in the entirety of human history. I see the current order as an uneasy balance of opposing interests and more the result of a complex web of Mexican stand-offs and gradations of master-slave relationships of imbalanced power than the result of a small group of faceless, practically omnipotent men meeting periodically in darkened rooms to plot humanity's worldwide subjugation.

To believe in any form of Illuminati is to believe in the sort of human cooperation, solidarity and absolute secrecy which manages to keep an undetected finger in every jam jar, but never gets greedy enough to feel personal ownership of the jam. That goes against everything we have ever known about humans, power and relationships between empowered humans. The vast majority of the most powerful people want what each other have, regardless of what they themselves own, and don't share any more than they absolutely have to.

Because it's totally productive to latch on to age-old fairy tales instead of investigating the real conspiracies, the War on Terror being the most notable. Keep looking for boogeymen when your countries are literally transforming into police states before your very eyes.

Since a lot of people have no patience to try and learn history or research facts here is a little cartoon called The American Dream that is both entertaining and explains a lot of things about how the Illuminati, Globalists or whatever you want to call them, reached the level of power that they have today. Feel free to discuss if you even bothered to watch the whole movie, it is only 30 minutes long. Basically, England has been paying the Rotschild family ''war debt'' ever since the Napoleonic wars, and then they moved on to America, where they made it big and are now everywhere. Four American presidents have warned us about this and they are Jackson, Garfield, Lincoln and of course, John F. Kennedy. Kennedy was about to sign off some major paperwork and get rid of Fractional Reserve Banking but then they assassinated him and made sure nobody talked about Kennedy's plans. Soon enough, everyone forgot what Kennedy tried to warn us about.

EDIT: Also, I would like to add that I started getting really interested in conspiracy theories after 9/11 happened. I've always liked demolitions and 9/11 really looked like a controlled demolition to me. You might want to watch this.
