Wouldn't it keep dismantling itself? If you managed to get it into the gun it would never fire. The primer would always be in its previous state which would be not fired. Thus, a misfire :)

If you fire the bullet, then it will disappear from your current time, and if you came from the direction you fired from in the past then you will die in your past since the bullet will hit you, so you will not be able to fire the bullet in the first place, so you will never be able to fire the bullet even though you died, creating a paradox.

When you'd shoot a bullet backwards in time it would be like rainbows everywhere, but without music as both the rainbows and the bullet travel much faster than sound waves. But don't worry, there's a simple workaround: To receive the full pleasure with all rainbows and nice music I suggest you shoot the bullet sidewards in time. Simple as that.

Well I'm guessing you have an amazing time gun that actually shoots bullet back in time and not just reversing the time of a bullet you already fired so you would end up shooting a bullet that hits someone where they were before. So say a man was standing in a spot a couple of minutes ago and when he left you shot a bullet and the bullet went back in time and hit him so you would end up changing the world because that man was shot creating a whole new reality in which you would not have shot the bullet but instead you just witnessed a man get shot from nowhere.

but soon being, If you just witnessed the kill and you wouldn't shot then it would be no bullet in the present because it didn't existed in the past. You would only have a mysterious death, and the presence of the bullet will be never detected...

Then you would only need that one bullet, and nothing else, as the gun would pretty much reload itself every time you shoot it. You just discovered infinite ammunition, and although I don't want to be the obnoxious "idea guy", I think it would be great for a game idea.

Assuming it begins going back in time once you shoot it, it would travel to it's origins where it was created and disintegrate.
If the bullet would only go back in time until the point of it being shot, it would never even move, because as soon as you shot it, it would return back to not being shot.

You would shoot someone, and hit their father's nuts.

No way to know without more variables. What are you shooting it at? How far back in time is it expected to go?

you know how that would be? physically impossible... aaand awesome :D

I'll be giving away a game key to someone at random for your thoughts.
Game key was given away Saturday night to BlueDrank01. Thanks again for the fun. I'll be doing it again sometime.
