CONSOLES Are getting games DUMBED DOWN A LOT :) Maybe next gen consoles won't limit the game dev-ing & then we'll have games for the full potential of i7 or whatever new stuff comes out...( FOr example Dark Souls has 30 fps limit untill you unlock it with FPS+Mousecursor fix etc) ...Also GAMES ARE GETTING DUMBED DOWN...check Diablo 3 , The Elder Scrolls ,et cetera :) .......Not sure what's worst for gamers &gaming future....consoles or (135736156317515 useless->)DLC's instead of good ol' expansions :)
Edit: F-IN OUTRAGEOUS THAT GAMES ARE MADE ONLY FOR CONSOLES - Dragon's Dogma :((( , TheDarkness1,Uncharted games,Infamous games etc :(( really ourageous wtf...I dont own a beast desktop or laptop BUT SOME PEOPLE PAY 2K-30 K EUROS/DOLLARS/POUNDS FOR BEAST GAMING Desktops/laptops & consoles just don't put up with the pc's flexibility and what not :) . SURE They could be good for lan parties bla bla drunken masta' parties lolz & stuff for the lols but you cant make movies special effects with consoles or design/program games(not direclty at least,WITHOUT the help of helping programs) no matter how many consoles you link (as if that's possible roflCopter,just a joke).
I started gaming with SEGA,Nitendo,PS1,PC etc but i hate consoles nowadays ,initially the rage &hatred was for Dragon's Dogma & others made for consoles only etc but now as i explained it's also for the dumbing down and limiting the usage of PC powah in game developing nowadays...maybe next-gen consoles will keep up but i doubt it since then we'll have next-gen PC's too lawl.

Refusing to release a PC version of a game I may be interested in merely boosts the sales of their would-be competitors on PC. If someone has no ability to play your game, they stop thinking about your game. It ceases to exist in that gamer's mind. Your development costs still exist, but your game does not. Even your company doesn't exist.

There are far more games available that I absolutely LOVE than I could ever play in a single lifetime. If all AAA makers stopped making PC versions, the only difference would be that the AAA developers would stop getting my money. Most just delay their acquisition of my money, thanks to the inevitability of Game Of The Year editions. DLC gets ridiculous? Fine with me. I'll wait until I can pay a fair price for everything that should have been under one umbrella to begin with. Keep shooting yourselves in the foot.

I thought PC gamers suffer already by adding 1 minute of release time to HL3 with every torrent download. HL3 is amazing but that new movie or game is just so precious so people keep pushing it. D:

I would ban pc gaming for 2 years to make us learn. Not just new games but retroacitvely every game on the market. So you could only draw stuff in excel and pretend you are shooting at stuff.
