gifting doubt

i have a doubt about gifting

to get real CV i need at least 5 entries per giveaway
in my case i want to gift 5 copies in the same giveaway, so that means that i need at least 25 people to join my giveaway to get the real cv from those 5 copies, or i need only 5 for all the 5 copies.

I'm not completely sure but I always understood it as 5 entries total no matter how many copies are being given, but maybe I'm wrong.

You only need five entries no matter what. If you give away 5 games at once and all 5 people when them, you still get the cv.

If you make it a public giveaway, I believe you don't even need 5. Although that's unlikely unless you're giving a often-bundled game to level 10.

^ Most thorough answer. Also, making a group giveaway a group + whitelist giveaway lets you easily add one more person. That person would be able to enter other whitelist giveaways, though I believe it's customary for someone whitelisted through the 'I need 5' thread to just enter the giveaway specified. A group + whitelist or multi-group giveaway may or may not count toward a group's required giveaways, depending on a particular group's rules.
