Have all of those, but thanks regardless. It's nice seeing such great games being given away. Hope the winner likes 'em! Cheers!
My first game was The Orange Box. Got a physical copy of that a handful of years back, when it was fairly new. Worth every penny.

I know that feel, didn't need to pirate a game for more than two years and with current backlog I don't even care about pirating. :-)
On the other hand, I was going to stop playing games since I didn't enjoy them as much as I was a kid... and then I came to Steam and found many great indie games. Damn, Steam made me change my mind. I could have been successful! (Or really not. :D )
Funny thing is, a free copy of Faerie Solitaire motivated me to create a Steam account (almost) three years ago. :)

Indies are great, sure there are some crappy ones but that can also be said about AAA games. Most indies are highly unique and creative games, a blast to play.
Funny enough I actually created a Steam account because I really wanted to try Moonbase Alpha, then a friend showed me HumbleBundle and the there it was: The Humble Sid Meier Bundle and Humble Double Fine Bundle. That was the start of my Steam collection.

Woohoo whitelisted, I'm pretty sure you already have Skyrim though lol. Nice contribution there :3

Thanks Laptoprocker! I actually pre-ordered Skyrim because I was hyped for it. Admittedly, it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be but it was an amazing game. It's mostly just that nothing can beat my nostalgia for Oblivion.
I first played Mass Effect about 2 or 3 years ago and boy oh boy that was a fun ride. Regardless of what people have said, it was an amazing trilogy and all of them were good on their own in their own way.
Dragon Age: Origins... I just have no words for it. One of the best games I've played and I can actually kind of put that on a list. Okay, that's a lie. I have a big list of #1's. It had great characters, a simple but effective storyline and overall fun gameplay. Everyone was great.

I finished the 3 games. Have to put my hands on the latest Dragon Age... On a side note, being in your whitelist seems to be a great idea :)

Skyrim Legendary was the second game I bought on my current account, the first one being Deponia.
However, the first time I ever used Steam was after I bought a CD for Skyim :D When I found out Skyrim legendary was on sale (a few years later) I bought it on a new account because at that time I thought it was bullshit you didn't get an extra copy of skyrim if you bought Legendary while you already had the base game :)
Anyway awesome GA's, won't be joining since I got them all :D

So back in 2013 I bought a physical copy of Skyrim Legendary Edition. I've been mostly pirating games up to that point (Skyrim included) but the whole modding community and the sheer amount of enjoyment I got out of the game convinced me to buy a legit copy of it.
Never looked back since, I bought almost all games I enjoyed playing before and never felt the need to pirate a game again.
Now that this Skyrim paid modding controversy is over it is only fitting to give away a copy of Skyrim Legendary Edition.
The giveaway is for whitelisted people only, however I'd be more than happy to add more people to my list. Just leave a comment and I'll get back to you if I decided to add you to my whitelist.
[Update] I'm trying to skim through the comments every now and then and whitelist people. If I just comment "whitelisted" or sth without a meaningful reply is not because I don't care about what your saying in your comment, I'm just simply way too tired to respond properly. (woke up at 3.30am today after 2 hours of sleep etc)
There is also a giveaway for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins for the rest of you, so that you don't miss out. (both are excellent games, dare to say much much better than an un-modded Skyrim).
Without further ado:
The Elder Scrolls Skyrim Legendary Edition
Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age: Origins
