well.. Mine was when i forgot sunscreen. it's ended up being a 1 or 2 degree burn :( but when i thought the worst was over... This began.. maybe there may be a bandaid here for the U who have experienced pain :P

aaand of course i end up hurting myself again xD

This time i was running with my dog and tried to out run him when i lost a shoe. Than there only was one way and that was down. Ended up with 9 huge bruises. 1 week after the crash they turned up yellow, and i still can't sleep on my left side XD

TL;DR
i should go sit on a chair and never move again XD

When I was like 5 or 6, I used to get constant earaches. I had an adenoidectomy, and multiple sets of tubes in my ears, but neither really fixed the problem. Eventually, I ended up getting an ear infection in my left ear so bad that my eardrum ruptured. I don't remember much of it, but I do remember it being the most painful thing I've ever felt. I also remember vomiting from the pain (the doctor anticipated this and gave me a container to throw up in). So, yeah, that sucked a lot. Also, I'm about 75% deaf in that ear now. And I have mild tinnitus.

Ear pain is the worse, even if you're an adult. I remember seeing lots of kids on the ENT ward and wondering how the hell they managed to cope with their surgery so well.

I had brain surgery and a mastoidectomy (ear surgery) just under three years ago and the latter was by far the most painful. It was then I discovered I was allergic to morphine.

There are different types of pain though. The most frightening pain I've ever experienced was having a hickman line inserted a few days after the surgery I mentioned above. They insert it while you are awake directly into the subclavian artery which is in the middle of your pec, below the jugular on your neck. Problem is, the heart interprets the puncture and insertion as a potentially fatal event and goes into complete panic. I really thought I was dying for a few moments there. The longest few moments of my life.

Having my left knee drained for the 2nd time, (both) due to hockey injuries. The first one wasn't so bad, but the second time was beyond awful.
2 more knee injuries later, my knee is pretty messed up to this day. I've gotten used to it, but it hurts pretty much everyday to varying degrees. Damn hockey.

Being on a car crash where the whole driver side was wrecked. Broke my leg bone in half. The femur. And shattered my knee.

Any slight movement was excruciating. I remember laying there trying to raise my leg and i could feel only half of the leg raising.

When I was 13 I had to get anaesthetic injections in the base of my feet as I was having ingrown toenails removed, I think I ended up having 4 or 5 injections total because the first few didn't numb me enough and I could feel them cutting my toes open.. oh man that sucked. And then a few years ago I had the most severe, crippling bout of ..ahem, girl pain I've ever had in my life, I thought I had somehow conceived an extremely feisty wolverine that decided to escape. Not a fun time.

I was in the army and had to sleep about -20 to -25 temperatures outside just in a sleeping bag. Basically in the morning it was so cold I couldn't control my hands so if I had to write something up I couldn't handle the pen as I simply had no feeling in the hand. I have no idea how the guys in WW2 fought in these temperatures. Literally you can't even press your trigger or focus on a target with all the shaking and numbness. Oh and it was painful, cold is quite painful in a whole other category if you have to endure it for a while.

Second most painful experience is probably wisdom teeth nerve pain. For about 3 h of intense pain and 12 h in total pulsating pain. I have had tooth pain. I became adjusted with normal tooth pain basically as an infection had spread in my lower teeth and doctors were dealing with it. Normal everyday tooth pain was so familiar that I learned to live besides it, I felt it but it didn't bother that much knowing I was dealing with it. Then came in the wisdom tooth that somehow managed to tangle its nerve while moving through the gum. I simply screamed and banged my head against softer objects just to keep myself sane. You know when the doctor hits a nerve while fixing your teeth? Basically somehow the nerve was being constantly pressed like that as it at one point started moving through the gum. For some hours it felt as someone stepping on my nerve and that pain I will never forget.

The stupidest reason to cause myself pain was hitting my big toe against concrete while being drunk, not tripping literally walking up to a bridge and kicking it. Next or next next day I had to go to the emergency department who removed my toenail as I had kicked it hard enough for it to move to pretty much 70 degree angle.

Also I have an operation planned next week but I hope I don't have to write about that being painful.

Appendicitis. Woke up screaming in pain. Glad I won't go through that again.

Meningitis was pretty painful as well, but I was really young when I had it.

Running and jumping a hurdle. My Zigtech got stuck in the hurdle. I face planted, and stuck my wrist out. Broke my wrist. Got up in a second or too (impressing everyone in the stands) and jumped the next hurdle. Triumph, right? Nerp. Jumped it, broke my foot, face planted, got up, second place! And ER....
TL;DR Pain, triumph, embarrasment, pain, victory, ER!

I had an esophageal obstruction, so for about 5 days I was constantly gagging and throwing up; I could down about 1/3 a cup of water a day based on the small amount that would go before I threw up and I couldn't eat at all, by the end I had an endoscopy and they cleared it up, but I had lost ~13lbs/around 90lbs (I was only 9years old).
All the throwing up caused esophageal ulcers so for about a month afterward I couldn't have solid food and all food and drink caused immense pain, still beats dying from dehydration and starvation (where I was headed).

Edit: Nevermind, two dry sockets after having my wisdom teeth removed surgically, coupled with an infection was worse.

Mine would probably either be when I over-extended a tendon in my ass from falling while ice-skating, or sunburns much worse than the original post (ginger ftw).

Either the one time I got a gallbladder infection or just regular migraine. I've broken my shoulder, a finger or two, a toe or two, sprain stuff and many other things but those two are the most painful ones probably. I'm talking about the 'I'd drill a hole in my skull to make the pain stop' headache.
I once had a bone marrow biopsy which was kinda painful as well, would probably make it to the top 3.

Getting stabbed takes the first place i guess...altho the first really long journey in full equipment in the army recruitment camp wanted to kill my legs and back aswell...that was real pain to walk till the end but you get used to it...still, first time was painful and exhausting as f**k.

EDIT: Actually getting injected painkillers into muscles with 2 huge needles at the same time was actually more painful than getting stabbed. When you get stabbed you are kinda in a shock so that easies the pain...while if you see those huge ass cow needles and doctor tells his nurse to bring a bowl because blood may be start bursting out was already more painful before he even injected them :P
I've also broken both of my arms but i don't think that breaking your limbs is that painful so i don't know what most people are on about in here.
