Skyrim, because it had Czech language which wasn't available on Steam back then. few months after they enabled Skyrim in my territory and another few months later they added the Czech language on Steam :|

I bought every single game I have on Retail box (if it can be activated on steam/origin, I take that as a bonus), I like to have physical discs for collection.

CD-Rom? Possibly Tomb Raider (1).

buffff...I choise steam in 2012... no more CD or DVD...

Bioshock 2 - $50NZD and yes I regret buying it, I didnt have enough data to download it and I really wanted to shoot some things with phosphorus buck so I just went and bought it, played it for about 3 hours that day and never touched it again.

I usually only buy old games on disc because steam sales are good enough for me, and Gamestop sells ps2 games ultra cheap if you're buying more than one so I think my last ones were:
