My first and also my favorite is Gabriel Knight's Beast Within as well... I remember I was just wishing I could see the Sins of the Father characters in a FMV as I got the second game. Malia Gedde in special :)

Mine was The X Files Game on Playstation. That counts as FMV, right? I got really close to the end but I could never get past this one bit. No matter what I did Scully always got the black oil and killed me :(

First one I recall playing was Wing Commander 4, which I somehow got with a DVD drive. I still recall it because the disk was a double sided one, with the label being on the inner ring, thus I had trouble finding out what that DVD was at first, or which side was which. Never played it that much though.
The other FMV game I recall playing is Gabriel Knight 2, which I played much more recently (a couple of years back). Seems like I have a lot of catching up to do :)

7th Guest, but only in 2014. Looked quite shabby, but I love the genre nevertheless - it feels quite.. artsy. Or I don't know, it's really different from other genres.
