You would know if you were banned, there is no reason to suspect a bug and you are not unlucky, since 500 giveaways each with about 1k entries = it's normal you didn't win even once. To add some numbers: 500 giveaways, 1000 entries each = about 61% chance not to win anything, 500 giveaways, 500 entries each = about 37% not to win anything. Even in the second case, 37% is quite high not to be considered unlucky in most cases.

I kinda use empirical formula for this: if I want >95% of winning chance I should enter 3 times more GAs than their average entries. 4xmple, I should enter 3K GAs with 1K entries each just to have 95% chances to win at least anything. It's math "heartless bitch" statistics.

First win for public giveaways usually comes around 1000-1500 entries. Nowadays most publc ones doesn't seem to get lower than 500 entries on level 0, so you may need more than 2500 entries on these to get your first win.
This site is similar to the lottery. You don't expect to win on the lottery all the time either, same here.

I registered 10 months ago and entered +8000 gibs (feels ashamed xD), the ones i've won are not the public gibs, but by solving puzzles, find hidden gibs, entering trains & events, ocassionaly get on someones whitelist. Those gibs usually have lesser entries and your more likely to win something. If you want to up your odds, give some goodies back and lvl up. gibs at higher lvl usually have lesser entries also. Just have fun on the site and sg-gods will start to love you

Giveaways can successfully be completed with less than 5 entries, but they just don't give any CV towards the giveaway creator (which is the reason some of them will delete their giveaway). Some people don't care about that, so they keep the giveaway up regardless of amount of entries it ends up getting.

Minimum requirement on groups and/or invite-only giveaways are 5 if you want to earn CV. With public giveaways you'll earn CV with one entry. I have made plenty of completed giveaways in my group with less than 5 entries. Groups have different rules and requirements. But you are correct that you will not get CV with less than 5 entries unless it's public.

I've entered 1700+ GAs before 1st win. And I heard about guy who entered 9K+ GAs without winning. Unless you enter gibs where enters equal numbers of copies you always have chances not to win anything. It's math statistics.

Participation is the issue. You are not participating in a lot of GA's. There are only 3182 Enteries. You are also LVL 1 and not raising you LVL. If you raise you LVL to atleast LVL3 you will have more chances of winning due to more possibilities.
