Strategy Enthusiasts [February GA] (24h remaining + new group GAs)

Can I get an invite? I'm really into Company of Heroes, Civ, and space 4X games (still hoping for something as good as Master of Orion 2 to come along).

Prefer TBS to RTS by a wide margin. But the group is for all strategy fans, right?! :) I'd like to join.

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth 1 and 2.

It was the RTS I spent most time on.

I'd like an invite if it's possible. I mostly play Grand Strat games and the Total War series but end up playing stuff like 4X and TBS when I feel like it. I used to play Brood War way back in 1998 and even played in a couple tournaments. Zerg is bae.

I think, all of these RTS games have their unique flavour :)

Used to always play RTS and now I mostly play turn based strategy. I guess getting older makes you slower

I would also like an invite to your group as strategy games are my favourite genre by a wide margin! Don't let my steam play times fool you I have sunken hundreds of hours into Civilization V, Europa Universalis III, Age of Empires and Age of Mythology as well as Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 (All hail Yuri!) before I started using Steam for everything. ^^
Nowadays I prefer turn based strategy over realtime strategy, I hope this still qualifies!

My favorite RTS is Total Annihilation. I remember. I really like the concept of AI War,, but haven't played it yet. The poll is all RTS, what about other strategy types? Total War? Crusader Kings? Making history?

Old C&C Red Alert hand here, with lots of strategy games in the backlog :P

I used to play RTS a lot when i was a kid, now i just play aoe2hd with friends from time to time :)
And i never had a favorite franchise, they are all great :D

I'm unfortunately not that often available to play online, but if it's okay with you when I drop in sometimes I'd like to apply for an invite too :>. All my friends are console geeks and therefore suck at RTS anyway ;D.

I have been a fan of the genre since I played Civilization 2 in the 90s. It is turn-based, contrary to Age of Empires or Starcraft, but I suppose it qualifies all the same. :P I also love the games created by Paradox, including Europa Universalis or Victoria. :)
