The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?
You are free to include purchases from other stores or systems, besides Steam/PC.

Spend? Ha, I actually earned me some potatoes!

Did you try desync or hellbound yet? How are they? Been on my radar a while

Not yet actually...my backlog is stupid atm and I still need to finish up Quake 1 & its expansions first :)

Btw Hellbound is much cheaper on Nuuvem atm, for those interested in it.

I did recently complete all the content to date in Wrath though, that's a damn good FPS to be sure...and I recommend it a lot.

This is my biggest sale since I had a decent amount of christmas money I could spend
Got a lots of games, some dlc and a few bundles just because why not. Apparently is was so much that I even missed out writing them all done for my blaeo report

Most were sequels like cook serve delicious 3, devil may cry hd collection and 5. After buying most of my collections I brought a couple of games like tokyo ghoul, persona 4 and so on

Gunfire Reborn - decent roguelike shooter, fun with friends
Humble Choice $6 a month for 6 months and some gifts to friends (most notably Cat Quest).

I had no idea what I want this year. Was thinking about picking up FFXIV as I played free trial months before, but after finishing main game and first expansion, I was done with it. So saved myself around 20 euros in the end I guess... Ended up picking December Choice because it was cheap. I don't really have games that i'm looking forward to right now. I play whatever I have.

Nothing yet, but I'm gonna buy something before the Winter Sale ends. Just need to do bit of "math" to figure what I need to get so I'll earn just enough points for the seasonal badge. Haven't bought anything outside of Steam and likely won't, no sales are in my budget.

Spent about 55 euros on Steam and other shops. Got myself:

  • Wanderlust - Travel Stories
  • Wanderlust - Transsiberian
  • BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Special Edition
  • Halcyon 6
  • Star Renegades
  • Edge of Eternity
  • Dark Souls II - Scholar of the First Sin
  • Dark Souls III
  • Townsmen - A Kingdom Rebuilt DLC

I intend not to buy anything in 2021 (except maybe Bravely Default II and Monster Hunter Rise on Switch) and be content with my huge backlog and Humble Monthly sub.

Edit: forgot to mention the second-hand Switch games I got: Astral Chain, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. That's an extra 110 euros.

Game Ratings Retail Price Current Price
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord 87% of 116,451 reviews $49.99 $39.99
Disco Elysium 94% of 24,509 reviews $39.99 $23.99
Field of Glory: Empires 82% of 529 reviews $39.99 $23.99
Dying Light Enhanced Edition 94% of 155,128 reviews $59.99 $17.99
Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Road to the Black Sea (DLC) 89% of 1,761 reviews $17.99 $8.99
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus 76% of 16,010 reviews $39.99 $7.99
Wolfenstein: Youngblood 46% of 6,119 reviews $29.99 $8.99

Prices for most were slightly better than shown, thanks to bundles.

Had to buy Borderlands 3 twice for the advent calendar here, as the first key was region locked for Europe only. :(

For the Switch I bought:
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA

I'm still considering Metrox Exodus Gold Edition or Control, but I think I got enough shooters for now.
Would love to finally buy a complete edition of Anno 1800 for a good price, but ofc they had to add a third season.
Age of Empires 2 Def Edition is tempting too, with the new expansion soon.

because i spent so much money on games instead of anything else. but i guess it's what i spend most of my time on so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Welp. I wan't supposed to buy anything but eventually I spent a bit over $70. Story of my life. 😶 Got me Control (I've got my eyes on this one for a while now), Quantic Dream collection (Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain & Detroit: Become Human), Bright Memory and Metal Gear Rising to accompany my Solids.

I only don't know how I'd get time to play all that. 🤔

I was going to buy Children of Morta along with its DLC, but then it appeared in the Monthly and I bought the DLC for full price straight away, because it's for charity anyways. Very good purchase.
So I bought nothing in the wintersale so far, and it looks like as if it will stay that way. I stilll have so many amazing games in my queue that I'm really looking forward to, no need to add to it.
