   H.P. Lovecraft meets Cyberpunk. Delve deep into an obscure dystopian world and hold firm to your consciousness, when you stumble upon the terrifying truth about your life in a domed city, a truth that might tear apart your own sanity and question your very existence.

Backspace Bouken is a Japanese-inspired old-school dungeon crawler with a fast-paced typing battle system and ridiculous storyline. Fight monsters by typing their dialogue as you progress through the game and climb the tower. Fast and accurate typing will be rewarded, and maybe you'll even become a better typer!

Conglomerate 451

Conglomerate 451 is a grid-based, dungeon crawling first-person RPG with roguelike elements set in a cyberpunk world.

That pretty much ticks all the boxes for me.

There's a lot of great games in this thread and I'd like to take a moment to plug one. If you like the original Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past or games like it I have a feeling you will love this. Hazelnut Bastille

Hazelnut Bastille had a kickstarter goal of $65,000 and finished with $177,000 and had over 4k backers. It will be releasing on Windows, Mac, Linux, Nintendo Switch and PS4 with the estimated delivery to backers in October 2020.

• I checked out the beta (1st mission of the first campaign where you play as the vampire faction) and it was fun! It's just that the game still has some glitches; it isn't well-optimized yet; and well, the game crashed at the end :P

3. Frontline ZED

In the midst of a zombie outbreak, defend your fortified barricade by night, and collect weapons and conduct repairs by day. Survive long enough to make your way through America and towards rescue.

• I've always liked zombie survival games and this one looks interesting enough :)

4. Monster Sanctuary

Monster taming meets metroidvania. Collect, train and battle monsters in a lovely side-view pixel world.

5. Decay of Logos

Immerse yourself in the world of Decay Of Logos and unravel its mysteries. Explore old dungeons, battle unforgiving foes and journey through a vibrant interconnected fantasy realm with your mystical elk companion.

MO:Astray

The game seems to take inspiration from Ori and the Blind Forests movement system, and has a rather decent pixel art based aesthetic. I think it looks fun (though its a shame all the NPCs / enemies move like badly animated puppets).

• I've played this and it's quite fun... and also tough, due to getting randomized train tracks and restrictions as to where I can place them, tbh. Here's a gameplay video if you're interested

2. Playerless: One Button Adventure

   Discover Playerless, the game set in another game. Your character has become self-aware, you can only use one button to play, the AI has formed a sect - and the game engine is a physical mechanism.
