Can that fact really be true? From what I have been told its racist and bigoted white people that do the most hate crimes. But white brits have been a minority in London since 2011.
How can a decrease of white people lead to an increase of hate crimes?
Comment has been collapsed.
I guess it take an idiot to do some critical thinking nowadays. I was refering to the second article where they tried to make it look like the increase of hate crimes is because of the rise of right wing populism. I doubt it was a direct quoute from the ladies and instead was the media that tried to push their narrative. Whenever I see someone blaming right wingers I just assume they mean "evil white people". But at least they didnt call them a natzi. Must be an american thing.
To me I belive people are more tolerant and accepting then ever. Otherwise we wouldnt have this massive support for LGBT that we have. (Even if you ignore the companies trying to cash in)
Because of this I highly doubt all the increasing hate crimes against certain groups is because of hateful right wingers/white people. Did all the tolerant people move away and was replaced by other tolerant and accepting people and those who stayed just had their hate grow so much that it boiled over? Doesnt really make sence to me. But what do I know. Im an idiot, thanks for the blacklist and the strong argument you provided to prove me wrong.

You have used "I doubt" and "I believe" a few times in there. Did you actually read any if the articles, because if you had, some of your doubts may have been alleviated? If anything, the right wing were the ones jumping to conclusions that they were immigrants doing the attacks which has been debunked. A newspaper like The Guardian, although left leaning, is not going to misquote what the women have said, and neither are they going to make up police statistics which can be verified.
Comment has been collapsed.
haha, wasnt thinking about that. Was just curious if its actually true that the rise of right wing populism has anything to do with it.
Btw, where you going to blacklist me and accidently removed it? Or did you change your mind and then I answered a question and you deemed I had the wrong opinion again and blacklisted yet again?
Comment has been collapsed.
So you would say that the Soviet Union was a perfect example of left wing then? Exactly like the socialists of today? Yes it is bullshit trying to hide where you ideology comes from and how it has worked in the past.
Socialism still isn't liberalism no matter how much people try to twist it. And adding hardcore nationalism to it doesn't suddenly make it capitalism, which is what the right wing is actually about.
Comment has been collapsed.
I never said anything about socialism, I just called bullshit on your "nazis are extreme left wing".
So, let's just see what Hitler himself has to say about communism.
Comment has been collapsed.
Extreme left wing believes that government should have all control while extreme right wing believes that individuals should have all freedom. Which one of these do you think more closely represents nazis? It still has nothing at all to do with liberalism, nationalism or any other -ism mixed in with it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Extreme left wing as anarchism? As far as I know, anarchism preachs for a stateless society. Or are you talking about communism? The ultimate goal of communism is the absence of social classes, money, and the state.
But I believe your point is made as a simplified Horseshoe theory, as some governments share some traits, so this leads people to draw conclusions without taking everything in consideration. If the right wing believe that individuals should have all freedom, who is gonna enforce the right to property? The individual himself?
You can also take the German federal parliament's opinion on the subject [Last page].
Comment has been collapsed.
Anarchy is colorless, it's the absence of any form of government, just people doing whatever they please. It would oppose both left and right wing politics, get drunk and go break things others own.
Can you show me one country in the history of Earth where ruling extreme left wing politics have meant liberalism and not totalitarianism? Was the Soviet Union the epitome of liberal humanism in your eyes while nazi Germany was the opposite? Or were they both equally horrible totalitarian societies? Did communism and socialism suddenly stop being left wing and become right wing?
Capitalism and the American ideal of freedom are examples of the actual right wing. And yes, the individual has the responsibility to protect his property by shooting any threats to it with his assault rifles and in the extreme version also shoot any officials coming after that to take their freedom away. The fact that most forms of government and ideologies mix in traits from others doesn't change the fact of what they actually are. You can be a conservative left wing nationalist like the nazis or liberal right wing corporatist or whatever mix you choose to represent your thoughts. It still doesn't change just one from the mix to mean every one of them.

You're right to question any stats presented from anywhere - and no doubt there may be some bias in there. (They claim to be derived from reported incidents). But just a couple of things: The double of hate crimes is across the whole of England and Wales, not necessarily London.
The attack of the two lesbians on a bus was London however, and was reported as being by young violent boys 4 of which had strong British accents, and one Spanish. On release of the initial incident, because they were below age, their faces, nationality, and race etc were not disclosed. But sadly, I saw a lot of online commentary that immediately jumped to the conclusion that the perpetrators must have been immigrants, because a) london and b) little was revealed about them.
This latest report however, confirms from the women themselves, that the attackers were right wing popullarists, debunking the immigrant rumours. After all - the two women were only passing through London from the US and Argentina (air hostesses I believe).
Comment has been collapsed.
I must admit I just skimmed the first article and focused more on the second one because of the title. Read a little more from the first one and see they also mentioned that it could be partially increased because of right wing populism in a quote from the campainers, and that race hate crimes increased after Brexit. I dont doubt more younger people lean to the right and its increasing more then before. And there are idiots everywhere. But I highly doubt people are more openly racist and hateful now then before just because more and more people are shifting to the right.
Regarding the incident with the two women. I didnt expect the attackers where immigrants. Because it would be wierd for them to mention right wing populism if they wherent. People that attack someone is a moron, no matter why they do it. But wouldnt suprise me if they would attack or harass them even if they wherent gay. People that do that sort of stuff doesnt need much of a reason unfortunately.
Comment has been collapsed.
To be fair, I was not including you when I said, "But sadly, I saw a lot of online commentary that immediately jumped to the conclusion that the perpetrators must have been immigrants." We can agree on some things: Yip,unfortunately there are plenty of idiots, and I'd of course be lying if I suggested that they are on the right only. And that anyone attacking anyone for no reason are morons plain and simple. There is growing shift of youngsters shifting to the right - but, I also sense there are growing numbers of lefties amongst youth - i.e. it's the center that is diminishing. The future looks a little bleak to both of us I suspect. You'd possibly blame us leftie, libtard, snowflake "sjw"s, and I'd blame the populists like Trump, Farage, Tommy Robinson etc.
I see you don't like it when those on the left call right-wingers nazis - and rightly so (unless of course they really are nazis!). Just so, those of us on the left know what kind of person we are dealing with when we are labeled SJWs - which I've seen you do, and the reason I blacklisted you a week or so ago in the YT thread. Just remember it can go both ways! SJW started as a self labeled "good fight" but was hijacked by the right and of course is now derogatory. I believe (yes - my own prejudice will come in to play here!), we should all be fighting injustices when we see them - why wouldn't a normal person want to stop unfairness?
At the same time - I was annoyed by the Rock, Paper, Scissors review of Bloodlines 2 - because as a leftie, he makes the rest of us look stupid when it goes too far. I was not offended by the trans model - I thought it was cool, actually, even though she was sexualised which makes sense in a dystopian alternative future - or the so called social stereotyping, but it gets annoying when because of one overtly leftie, we all get bundled together. I'm sure it does for you too when labeled a nazi - just for the actions of a few. That's why I think language is important - and so is awareness (like say pride). It's hard to see a way out of this mess - but dialogue is a good place to start as we are doing here.

I agree with most of what you just wrote. I didnt think you included me when you said that. I just wanted to make it clear that I didnt thought it was immigrants that did it. It was pretty clear that this was not the case. I just had a problem that they took a quote and wrote that the women said that it was probably because of the rise of right wing populism. Seems like a strange thing to say from someone passing through another country and seemed more like it was an answer to the reporters question, and they answered maybe or something similar :)
I agree that there really is no clear center anymore, where I differ in this is that the people on the left has shifed so far that people that probably was in the center or concidered themselved left doesnt do that anymore. And they lean more to the right because of this. It is right to fight for the weak and fight inequality. But I guess this is where we are stuck. To me, the left fight about things thats not necessary anymore. When they win they keep moving the goal post and things become more and more ridiculous. Dont remember I said anything about sjw, or if I said something in those terms. I have to check out the YT thread again. But regarding social justice. I think Ben Shapiro have pretty good argument why this isnt good. (Didnt view it now but saw it had a counter. So Im sorry if it will include "gotcha" points and "confirmed kill" or some shit like that pop up :) )
I hope some day we would live in a world where there would be no injustice, but discriminate other because of group justice is wrong. I hope every indivudual will succeed if they work hard enough and will not be held back because of someone else. That I can agree with.
I havent watched the review of Bloodlines 2, so I have no comment about that. Havent really checked out the game either Im afraid. But I agree that those who are extreme makes everyone else looks bad. I have never been labeled a nazi, but I used to watch a lot of "right leaning" interviewers trying to interview people on the left. And unfortunately there isnt a lot of dialogue and people just chanting nazi and shut down speech etc. So this is probably why Im more biased to the right, even if Im not american or even political for that matter.
Comment has been collapsed.
I mean - we'd probably approach it from different angles. I'd say that as inequality rises, so does the left as anger and resentment grow. I'd also say that a lot of the right are being misled by multi-billionaire news moguls who tap into fear, prejudice, blame of immigrants, blame of political correctness, blame of socialism, blame of LGBT issues, etc. So as the left grows, the right grows, until we end up where we are today.
The RPS (It's Rock, Paper Shotgun, not Scissors, sorry) Bloodlines 2 thread was actually quite civil on this site - although for some reason can't find that thread now. Deleted maybe - not sure. But online, in particular YT, many posts about the game you'd see many many posts using "woke" "sjw" boycotting the game etc. Which again, as I was saying, is the right getting angered by the voice or opinion of a few, and labeling us altogether. I think the hate started when the game announced you could choose gender neutral as you character. Lol - why that got many upset I don't understand. More choice is good surely? But then it gets crazy when RPS lambasted the game (from an extreme left point of view) claiming it's anti-trans, uses racial stereotyping etc. Lol - the developers seem to have angered both sides, showing just how ridiculous it's all getting. Anyway - the internet blew-up on that RPS article. I was going to link it for you - but that article seems to have been taken down too now.

On a lighter note - if ever I feel myself leaning too far left, I watch this video. Maybe you've seen it - and forget that it's by Louis CK (who currently is unliked by most people, left or right, for all sorts of reasons).
It's pretty funny imo, but does have some home truths, both good and bad about right vs left. I once worked with an extreme right winger and he laughed and said his wife enjoyed it as well.

Watched the video, was funny :) Surprisingly very few views.
Wanted to thank you for the discussion. Was afraid in the YT thread and wasnt sure if I would get involved when it was created. But thought it would be intresting to see what others would say. Unfortunately it wasnt that much. Of around 13 BLs from that thread, 2 users had acutally made comments in thread.
But I think this conversation we have was productive and I think we agreed on some things even if we come from diffrent directions.
Have a nice weekend and enjoy the rest of the day.

I started to follow that YT thread. I'd already seen the list of YTrs that had been demonetised, and there were a few in there I recognised and wasn't surprised - or upset by the actions taken. Was going to get stuck in to the conversation - probably even started typing, but the OP was so far off base, I just hit a few BLs and moved on, lol.
But yes - thank you for the discussion too - you seem like a good person - even if a "righty" ;p
Edit: The reason for few views on that video is because there was an older lower quality one around - perhaps a few, but this was a better quality one.

Just rememeber that being left you support Stalin and Soviet Union just like being right you support Hitler and Third Reich. Both are equally horrible choices so better to just think yourself instead of just accepting what someone else tells you is the right way.

Whoah - deeeeeep! xD
Does that mean we should burn down all the libraries? I mean - because that would mean listening to what other people have to say. How about all the schools and universities? Rid the world of all media and the internet? Because, we can only learn and grow if we form our own ideas and not listen to, or engage in debate anywhere? Aaah - ok!
Comment has been collapsed.
No, you should read a lot and learn all the opposing opinions, then pick the best parts of each and throw the rest in trash. Like I said, think for yourself instead of letting others do it for you and blindly following any -ism. This is why I could never support any political party, each have some good ideas and a lot of bad ones and then in politics they get compromised into a mix of the bad ones.
Comment has been collapsed.
At least you pulled back from the ledge there - but perhaps you're the ever diminishing centralist. Or political apathist? Not sure, but either way I think you've drawn conclusions about what people have been saying. This whole discussion is about sharing opinions, and doing as you say "pick the best parts of each and throw the rest in trash". We'd all be in perfect agreement, and there'd be no debate if we were all blindly following some kind of ism, lol. My opinions are my own - and I happen to disagree with some of yours, especially your definitions for a start ;) Voting must be difficult for you?
Comment has been collapsed.
I was never on any ledge other than your imaginary one so nothing to pull back from, I'm always a realist. How would 2 people following different -isms agree on everything when their beliefs could be the total opposite of each other? Instead they should talk with each other and discard their belief systems in favor of common sense.
I define things are they are, which often seems to be hurtful for people who have some illusion that they are something different. Everyone is of course free to disagree with me and can easily change my opinion if they actually say something that makes more sense. But disagreeing with reality is purely silly. Voting isn't difficult for me at all, I always vote what I think brings the most entertainment value to boring politics.
BTW, how did you end up from thinking for yourself to burning libraries? It's the total opposite when you try to control the information people can access so they can only listen to your one and only "truth".
Comment has been collapsed.
BTW, how did you end up from thinking for yourself to burning libraries?
You saying it's "so better to just think yourself instead of just accepting what someone else tells you is the right way." The same kind of leap you made by suggesting that that is what those on the left (or me?) have been doing.
I always vote what I think brings the most entertainment value to boring politics.
Trump wins that one... Not, in my opinion, the best choice though. But I'm guessing you smelled a leftie and jumped right in with assumptions. We can all be guilty of assumptions. The video you reacted to, was posted as "on a lighter note" but is quite good at highlighting a typical left vs right - with a good way to chill the argument for both sides. Your ridiculous Stalin vs Hitler is Left vs Right doesn't exactly suggest you've understood the argument very well at all.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, do you understand the difference between reading a book and taking everything the book says as the absolute truth and reading several books and thinking which parts of them made sense? And where did I say only people on the left or even you are doing that? Same thing applies to every possible belief system there is.
Yes I was happy that Trump got elected, mainly because he's an ocean and a sea away from me so I can just laugh at the drama with no effect on my life. I would never vote on anything like that to lead my country tho, there is a limit to even entertainment value. Last 2 times I voted for a president have been for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarja_Halonen and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Huhtasaari so have fun trying to find a fitting political party for me. TL;DR first is a socialist human rights supporter and chairman of our LBTQ association and second is one of those "right-wing nazis".
Where am I assuming anything? You seem to assume that based on your own beliefs, not what I have been saying, just like the imaginary ledge. What I have been saying has nothing at all to do with what you believe in since the same things apply to all. I never watched the video since it talks about some US BS where you only have 2 parties and both are very conservative compared to actual EU liberals. You thinking the truth is ridiculous just means you don't understand it. Left is not the same as liberal and right is not the same as conservative.
Edit: watched the video and seems like it agrees with everything I have been saying, you're both suckers.

Can that fact really be true? From what I have been told its racist and bigoted white people that do the most hate crimes. But white brits have been a minority in London since 2011.
If only that were true, LGBT people would be safer in the Middle East and Asia and Africa than they are everywhere else... which is sadly not the case. When there were "marches" against marriage equality in France, that was the only time I saw Jewish groups, Muslims groups and Skinheads walking together. Ah the power of intolerance uniting a**holes from every faith, belief and creed...

I'm asexual (always been) and I just found out browsing wikipedia thanks to this thread that "we" have a flag too.. well I'm not that proud or whatever else of my sexuality =P I've never really cared.
I think it's really weird that there are asexuals that want to be unified under a single flag or even wear rings or similar things in order to be identified as part of the same community.. I mean, I've never felt sexual attraction, I like girls (it's called "heteroromantic" I think) but I really don't feel the need to meet other asexuals.. haha =) A Canadian historian wrote that "we" asexuals always kept low profiles since it happens that a small part of the population has always been asexual, but we have never been discriminated.
So let's bump for all those who are still discriminated. This is always a great topic to support. I'm happy to live and work in an area that is highly developed even in these fields, at least here in Europe.
Comment has been collapsed.
The "asexual pride flag" though is really weird.. ahah xD
Comment has been collapsed.
That's a weird flag indeed :D Come to think, from the spot, I actually don't know any other flag with grey in it ^-^
Imho:
I kinda can understand, why there is a need to unify and show more acceptance (or more spread knowledge, since there is no visible direct discrimination). If I look to different cultures in different parts and/or different times, it must be at least an uncomfortable situation for asexuals, if there is for example a huge pressure on someone to get married and get kids, if you don't have any desire for it. And I agree with Starwhite the sexual desire and desire for companionship are not necessary the same.
Basically asexuals are mostly just not participating to the tradionally idea of relationships (with the binary ideology, getting married, etc...) and can blend in. Other orientation groups can't blend in, since they live in contradiction to the traditionalist ideology (which is currently for example way stronger in the US then in the EU.
PS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf9I04Oa-hU (I think this was the first video, I actually saw people on TV who at least claimed to be asexual, so this not visual at all in the media (at least according to like every romantic movie) Speaking off if I may ask and I hope it does not sound to stupid (if so ignore it XD), do you, as an asexual, enjoy watching RomCom-Movies or any romantic parts in stories? :D )
Comment has been collapsed.
ok, I'm answering here to my own answer and I think it won't give notifications =P
well, asexuality is something that can't be really defined since it's different from person to person, many talk about some kind of "gray sexuality" but I still can't identify with it. for instance, I never felt the urge to "try" homosexual relationships of any kind, while it seems that many asexuals find themselves not attracted to girls and therefore think they're gay, this has never been my case..
I think that Starwhite's answer is definitely interesting and it's probably a valid reason, about which I've never thought about..
I had four partners in my entire life, and I live with one of them (yeah it's true!), 2 years now, and the four of them were four "normal" (?) girls that anyways never made me feel uncomfortable.. I've always liked girls a lot, but I don't like sexual contact, even if on the other hand I get excited but only in a physical way (so I can have sex with girls without any problems - I can't get orgams that way but this is another thing again - but I've never tried with other girls). I never even kissed other girls apart from those four ones, it's kind of weird - I don't want to have any kind of physical contact, but if I have it my body gets excited and my mind is like "please don't touch me" XD
As I was saying, I've read many studies about asexuality in the past centuries and somehow it never came out as an illness or even a social problem.. as many other sexual orientations instead were (and unfortunately still are) perceived. it seems that asexuals of any kind "blended" into their societies and were "invisible". Gays were forced to marry and hide, while asexuals.. well, if they were forced to marry, I mean, they won't have the urge to go and find other partners..
Thanks BlackPrimus for your long answer =) Yeah, I'm lucky to be european, I've really never felt discriminated here. I felt weird as a teenager when my friends were all interested in girls and I was interested in videogames and sports, but they really never asked me anything.. maybe this isn't the same for every country in the world, but they just used to go out and have sex and when they asked me, I just used to tell them I wasn't interested and I went home or driving around with my motorbike and such..
Ok this would need a much longer and appropriate answer but I wanted still to write something!
For movies - I love movies, I watch tons of movies with my girlfriend and we always have funny discussions about the romantic scenes =P I am always like "why the hell does this guy have to cheat on his girlfriend?! to me, having a stable partner already fills my days!" and yeah this is why I never even thought to cheat on my partners, never a single time.. no interest in other girls, no interest at all in boys, we kind of managed to get along with sex in order to make her satisfied (I don't feel anything while making sex, it's weird). This was the main reason my 3 former gfs broke up with me I think.. we were too young to match asexuality and sexuality =P
I like romcoms but I watch them as I was still in college studying antropology and sociology when there are romantic scenes since I can't conceive jealousy, cheating, everything that isn't just love (even if the sexually explicit scenes somehow bothers me, since I really don't like sex.. but yeah I have (from time to time) sex XD)
It's all complicated! I think that most asexuals actually should be sorted into a mid-grey area, and there should be way more awareness for the single asexuals.. to be 100% asexual, with absolutely no physical (I'm stressing this term - I'm talking about when you are in physical contact with a beautiful girl without talking about the mental desires and such) stimuli, to me it's quite a rare condition..
Well I'll write again maybe something more interesting and precise, anyways thanks to all and that flag is still weird XD but I totally agree in the end with your answers =)
Comment has been collapsed.
Huh, that was unexpectedly interesting to read. Thanks for sharing. I think that you are incredibly lucky to have a girlfriend that accepts you and love you for who you are despite not being asexual herself. I imagine asexuality would be a dealbreaker for most of the girls if the guy is on the other end
Comment has been collapsed.
thanks to you, I'm sure I wrote a messy wall of text but I'll elaborate more if I'll have the chance, and the right time =)
I really think I'm extremely lucky too, and in fact I was dumped by my former girlfriend probably because of this "issue" too.. or anyways it ended even because of this..
she's not asexual, even if she isn't that "sex-needing", but she has definitely some "sexual needs"..
I think I'm definitely lucky because she has always been extremely supportive with me, we've been talking a lot about this issue and thanks to her I finally realized that actually I had been for 30 years an asexual without even thinking about asexuality as something to think about or even worry about.. I've always felt "normal", I've never been discriminated against, even in the years I've been single (many years, since my previous relationships have been quite short apart from the very first one, but we were both "inexperienced" teenagers..)..
so this is why I can definitely relate with what the others wrote, although I've really never felt the desire to meet other "asexuals" or "graysexuals" who have different layers of sex attraction, excitement.. I've never felt "different" because I didn't show interest in girls (or guys).. then it happened that I met someone and with many difficulties due even to my health issues (and mental!) we managed to get together.. and this girl seems to be the perfect one.. so I can totally comprehend asexuals who want to meet other asexuals, I don't get just the flag and the pride thing too much =P I hope meeting other asexuals may be useful to all who are in need!
Comment has been collapsed.
Awww this just warms my heart. I've been in an abusive relationship where a girl outright told me she thinks less of me cause of my lack of sexual experience and I was often made sure to know that I'm not a real man in her book, according to her expectations at least. Sol this is just heartwarming to read. I am genuinely happy for you.
Marry that lass when you get the chance :P

oh, well.. =\ thanks a lot for your kind words, in the first place.. and I can relate somehow, my last girlfriend (I never had problems to stay like 3-4 years without a single kiss by the way, zero sexual needs and I've never felt discriminated, like, no one ever luckily asked me anything about.. I think I'm lucky to be European..) was kind of "too sexual", or probably she had the "normal" sexual needs of a girl who had always an intense relationship with masturbation, toys.. well, until I met my current girlfriend I've never really spent days talking about sexuality.. so my former one kept on wanting sex and I felt nothing, but I was physically able to have sex, I don't even have orgasms during sex (which probably is a huge psychologica issue, not physical..) but my body can do everything and I developed a deep fear of sex, and I still have sex fear.. yesterday we saw an episode of a tv series and there was a sexual scene and I was like "why they are kissing and making out and such, it's disgusting!" but my girlfriend was there to laugh and talk with me and it's amazing, many other girls would just tell me that I'm not normal or worse.. that one I was talking about used to insult me a lot and I'm sure that a big role in her behavior was played by my sexuality too.. well, thank you again and I hope the same for you, no one deserves to be treated this way and I deeply think that an asexual or graysexual or demisexual or whatever can have safe relationships with other people regardless of their orientation if there's love and complicity.. I'll definitely elaborate more in the future since these years I'm starting to think that it's not something regarding "pride" or whatever else, but it's just something that needs to be discussed.. I'd love to help others too.. and well if these shout outs can help they're all welcome, I'll always be supportive of any minority/lgbt/whatever-else call for help.. I just don't feel like I'm different from other guys because of my sexuality and this doesn't make me relate with other asexuals in a separate category, but I'm here! best of luck sincerely =)

Sorry for the late response, there was no notification for me :D
Thanks for sharing your experience and replying to my stupid questions :)
It is really interessting to get first hand information, since there is literally no one in RL in my circles who outed themself as asexual and asexuals are not really represented in media (since there is usally no need to point out, that someone is asexual or sexual).
Again, thanks for this personal insight :)

To be fair. In most games sexual orientation is left undetermined, as it adds nothing to the plot or character development.

Other than that, not very important to me, though it does serve its purpose in grouping a minor set of games that would otherwise be hard to find.
Plus, tags are not added by publisher, so the usual big corp cant use it as a selling point. Better leave it to the player base to determine what really is inclusive.

It evolved out of our need as human beings to break free of oppression and to exist without being criminalized, pathologized or persecuted.
Depending on a number of factors, particularly religion, freeing ourselves from gay-shame and coming to self-love and acceptance, can not only be an agonising journey, it can take years.
Tragically some don't make it.
Instead of wondering why there isn't a straight pride be grateful you have never needed one.
Celebrate with us.β

βIf you are in the closet and fall in love with someone of the same gender, it doesn't automatically remove the shame and fear that's kept you locked away. The love you are experiencing encourages you to face the reality that this is who you really are and also has the power to set you free. The richness, beauty and depths of love can only be fully experienced in a climate of complete openness, honesty and vulnerability. Love, the most powerful of human emotions, is calling you to freedom and wholeness.β

Oddly, they bump it themselves with their trolling ...
You'd think they'd ignore it so it doesn't get bumped, but I guess attention is so important to some people that they're willing to overlook that point. O.O
.. and err ... thanks. I feel weird celebrating signing up for an account.

It's this time of year again!
June marks the LGBTQ+ Pride Month all over the world. Many LGBTQ+ people wait all year for this one month, the streets get painted with rainbows, motivational queer and trans speakers share their stories, and we are all reminded how far we've come for LGBTQ+rights and how much more we have to fight to be treated fairly. =3
