Mark of the Ninja is really good, I should play more of it.
Last game I beat was Dust - an Elysian Trail.
Great game, definetly recommend, 2d platform with a GREAT combat/combo system, years before Guacamelee xD

Hotline Miami
So good! even though there are some minor issues that hold it back from being an amazing experience

On A Roll 3D, beat it a couple of times trying to get all the achievements, once I managed a full playthrough which was nice.

Dr.Green - Pretty nice retro platform game. Pros: Nice, classic gameplay, good boss fights and nice music. Cons: Constant stuttering when moving (basically doesn't work smoothly but I don't think everyone has this problem, I can be wrong though), problems with controlling the character with sticks on gamepad, not every cut-scene can be skipped (it's especially annoying in the last level) and there are bugs present in the game. Still, it was created by one person (aside from music) so it's quite impressive. Worth a shot. 6/10
Brink Of Consciousness: The Lonely Hearts Murders - Collector's Edition - Adventure hidden object game of very high quality. Pros: Good atmosphere, very good music, nice graphics and beautiful backgrounds, good voice acting, very good gameplay, interesting plot and a lot of dialogues for a game of this type. Cons: Difficulty level of puzzles in the bonus chapter is higher than in the main campaign and the game is shorter than the previous one (Dorian Gray Syndrome). But all in all it's better in almost every way than its predecessor. 8+/10
Night Mysteries: The Amphora Prisoner - Good adventure hidden object game. Pros: Good gameplay, good, dark atmosphere, nice music, good hidden object scenes which are quite challenging and good puzzles/minigames. Cons: Grammar and linguistic errors in texts and subtitles and the game's short and easy. But I had fun. 7/10

To The Moon. It had a wonderful story and made me cry. ;w; Hoping to pick up A Bird Story soon, and hopefully the sequel for TtM will be announced soon too.

Just finished The Darkness 2. Long time since I have beaten a single player game but I've won it here and I always wanted to play and I have to say it was as compelling as the first one. The ending leaves me shattered in a way. I just want a happy end for fucks sake.

fort meow it was short and didn't have as much replayablity as I would like feel it would also be better priced lower due to that like $5ish vs $8 but meh

The Spirit Engine. A freeware game, made for windows 95. Despite being very old, the game is very fun, albeit short. It has Amazing soundtrack and has about 5 hours of gameplay. I would give it an 8/10 and I highly recommend it.

Alice madness returns
overall a good experience.
It actually has better story than i expected, aside from the over exposition
and the platforming was enjoyable
Cool artstyle, This goddamn engine though! seriously...loading textures everywhere.
Also the game is locked at 30fps...Not surprising its EA after all, but you can just change the ini file and it will run just fine, actually probably better, i found a lot more stuttering when playing at 30fps
The mini games and puzzles weren't good, but at least they were a nice change of pace, except for the 2d platforming ones (reminds me of Shadows of the damned 2d stages...lol,same publisher, same year) those were broken as hell, the controls aren't tight and the hit boxes are huge.
The combat is a bit clunky and there are alot of unnecessary limitations, the main problem is that i cant avoid being hit if im locked-on to an enemy, so every time i need to dash i have to quickly tap another button to avoid dashing towards danger
Also not really sure about that ending, ive been playing this game for far to long, but there was a lot of build up and that train was too freakin awesome to just end with a series of cutscenes

Alice is the only game published by EA games I actually saw with an FPS lock so I don't really understand the "it's EA after all" comment. Also, EA was only a publisher, they didn't have anything to do with the game itself and how it was created. Hate for the sake of hating?
I loved the game though, very original and interesting. Even better than the previous one.

Its not really, in fact i still buy some of their games
Not that long ago you had NFS Rivals which was also locked at 30fps
Also i never said they had anything to do with it, but it is curious how these 2 completely different games that came out in the same year and published by EA had the same minigame with the same problems.
And SOTD was made by SUDA, that was the first time i seen something like that in one of his games, and to tell the truth it doesnt seem like something he would put in a game

I see. I haven't played NFS Rivals.
Most games which are locked in 30 FPS are indie platform games nowadays to be honest. I play almost all of them that come out and 20-30% of them has 30 FPS lock. It's rare for AAA games to have 30 FPS lock although it happens.

Apparently i should have stayed for the credits, both games have a special thanks for Grasshopper and american mcgee
I really think for whatever reason they decided to work together to make those levels

I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.
Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.
