CastleAbra - Adventure game in which you'll die, repeatedly. Reminded me a little of King's Quest because of that (and the princess/wizard thing). Anyway, it's good. Pros: Nice atmosphere, simple but nice graphics style, cool music fitting the atmosphere, good humor and good ending. Cons: No map/fast travel (one could really use it here) and the fact that it's pretty short. But I had fun, it was worth it. 7/10
Witch's Pranks: Frog's Fortune - Collector's Edition - Great casual adventure game. Everything in it is on the highest level so make sure to give this one a go. Pros: Great atmosphere, very nice graphics and beautiful backgrounds, very enjoyable gameplay and good music fitting the game very well. Cons: Easy and short. Worth it. 9/10
Out There Somewhere - I haven't had that much fun with teleports since Portal 2. Pros: Very good gameplay and great mechanics, good music, nice retro graphics, good level design, open world, nice texts (I wish there were more) and good difficulty level (not too hard, not too easy). Cons: Too damn short! You can beat it in 1,5h with no rush. I hope the next game of this developer will be way longer. Worth it! Especially that it's on sale now for 0,19 euro only and it has cards! 8/10

Aaru's Awakening - Very good hardcore platform game. Pros: Very good gameplay, nice graphics style and beautiful backgrounds, nice music fitting the game well and that fact that the game poses quite a challenge but it's fair (meaning that if you die it's your own fault). Cons: Poor voice acting, plot is mediocre, there are no collectibles of any kind and the fact that it's short. But it's definitely worth it, very good game. 8/10
Bit Evolution - Reminds me of Life of Pixel that I haven't finished. While Life of Pixel was a little better Bit Evolution is more player friendly. It's a nice game but only if your aim is to collect every pixel in the game (1200 of them total) because if you're just going to go from one level to another without collecting anything you'll get bored fast as the game poses basically no challenge (you have infinite amount of lives). Pros: Nice gameplay and a lot of variety when it comes to eras and worlds. Cons: Very easy, the whole point of the game is to collect pixels IMO so if you're not going to do that it might bore you and the last "era" is not as good as the previous "eras". I had fun though. 6/10
PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.
Tengami - Good minimalist adventure game in the "pop-up" books convention. Pros: Very good atmosphere, very good music and beautiful graphics. Cons: Slow paced walking of the protagonist and the fact that it's really short. 7/10
PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.
Morningstar: Descent To Deadrock - Good adventure game about two astronauts that crash landed on an alien planet. Pros: Good atmosphere, enjoyable gameplay, nice music and good cut-scenes. Cons: Uneven voice acting (sometimes it's pretty nice and sometimes it's poor) and the fact that it's short. 7/10
PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.

Frankenstein: Master Of Death HD - Pretty good hidden object adventure game. Still far behind Artifex Mundi games but I had fun. 6+/10
PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.
Portal Of Evil: Stolen Runes - Collector's Edition - Very good hidden object adventure game. Definitely worth it, recommended. 8/10
PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.

Rayman Legends
I was going for 100% completion, i've done everything and still havent reached level 12, which means i have to keep doing daily challenges and they don't seem to reward that much, it would probably take me longer to reach the next level then it took me to get here.
Also i dont have nearly enough Lumas to unlock the final 2 characters, and the Ubi rewards for completing the achievements are a joke.
Great game though, its fast, challenging and the screen is always busy, one of the best platformers i've played, but from this point onward is basically grinding, maybe someday ill really finish it.

Bosses are more creative in that game, just not very intuitive, i had to die in order to figure out what i was supposed to do, there just not enough time to react the first time around

I've only gone through maybe half so far but they seemed fine to me. Maybe I'm just used to Zelda type stuff where it's almost a puzzle to figure out the bosses, or maybe they get worse later on. I did mess up a couple times on one of them though.

I just beat Batman: Arkham Asylum. Debating if I should try the challenges or move onto Arkham City.

Just finished Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock . I've got it in a bundle, also loved it back in it's flash game time. For my wallet it would be a little high-price the 10€ at full price ( Mad Max Fury road was ~7€ in 3D) but it's good substitute for a random movie as it's about the same lenght (2-3 hours). It's a good pick at 3-5€ price range during a sale.

I finished Verde Station a couple of days ago. My short review:
7/10
I had doubts about the game in the first 20 minutes or so. It felt like it's going to require doing a lot of chores to maintain the space station, but I was glad to discover that this isn't what the game is about. It has an actual story, and it picks up from there. I was also surprised by the ending which is always a plus.
Compared to other "walking simulators", I enjoyed Verde Station more than Gone Home. It simply offers a lot more interactivity and a better story. It wasn't as amusing as The Stanley Parable, and wasn't as atmospheric as Dear Esther, but all in all I would rank it between these two in terms of overall enjoyment.
Some people complain that Verde Station is short, but for $1 (on sale) there's more than enough content. Definitely better bang for the buck than any of the aforementioned games. Recommended!

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
It was not great. It had its strong sides (nice environments being the biggest one), sure, but it also had a lot of flaws (inconsistent controls, broken economy, overly lengthy kill animations, simplistic combat, the end game felt rushed and a sometimes problematic parkour system). Final verdict: Not recommended, unless you only intend to play it for the story (you kinda need to play the Assassin's Creed games in order, at least out of the ones I've played thus far, to get the story).

I wrote a small review for it, and this bit sums up my main annoyance (it was annoying not only because of the gameplay ramifications, but also because it's a mistake you would expect an absolute beginner at game-making to not make):
One flaw that seem to have become bigger with the introduction of some new elements is the problem with the inconsistent controls. Most games would simply have a "use" key that you would press when using levers, opening doors, talking to people, looting bodies and opening chests, but Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has 3 different keys that is being used here. E, Shift and the dreaded "any key" (which can be a hassle if you're close to the object and intend to run in any direction). And it's not entirely consistent about which key you're supposed to use at any given moment. This is made even more annoying by the fact that tutorial message that tell you very basic things keep popping up through the entire game, which covers the button prompts. Attacking is also a bit inconsistent. For most attacks, the left mouse button is used, like in any other game, but when using cannons (and other more exotic mounted weapons), it's suddenly the right mouse button that is used instead. This inconsistency makes no sense, as the left mouse button is not used at all during these segments. When mounting or dismounting things (boats, horses & cannons) there is again an inconsistency in regards to what button you're supposed to press. Shift, space and the left mouse button are all used for this. Finally, when using the crossbow or pistol you suddenly aim with WASD and can't control the camera at all, which makes those weapons really awkward to use.

Bastion
Emmm where do I start from, one of the best games I have played! Storyline is just so amazing with awesome music and narrator that follows u through the game. Feelings that u get while playing it are just overall flawless. I would rate it 10/10 any time of day!
Did 100% achievements on steam which required me to finish it 3 times :D

Yeah especially italy start(awesome infantry tutorial for MP and skirmishes) and few last missions expect for that with prototypes only which was hard and boring mainly because of building time.Frace was good tesst of skills before Germany in which few missions were very hard(prototype one and semi last one until creating tactic for it) but last one was pretty easy itself after 2 hours of repeating semilastone
I may have wrote the sections of campaing and remebered the missions wrong but i haven't played SP for quite a long time

I found the biggest issue with the early bit being the fact that the game made it seem like it was a strict Rock/Paper/scissors system. Tanks beat infantry, infantry beats AT guns, AT guns beats tanks, and with the way the levels were designed, there was really no way for infantry to ambush tanks (and things like SP-AT had not been introduced yet). This made the game seem rather simplistic. Once that bit was done though, the game introduced things like hiding units, ambushing and the need for proper scouting.

NFS Hot Pursuit
i've done everything in career mode, i'll probably just create a thread, see if anyone wants to help me complete the rest of the game online.
Really good arcade racer, aside from the hit boxes that are slightly larger then the objects, still, one of the best in the series.
The UI on the other hand, is terrible, this game deserves a far better port.
Multiplayer, even though mostly empty by now, was always a big problem, the lack of an actual quick match option makes it so much harder to find a game these days, but mostly, the biggest problem are the cheaters and unfortunately they are still around, back when this game came out a kick feature would have been welcomed.

I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.
Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.
