I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.

Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.

Edit:

Here's a collage of all games I've beaten over the years on PC:

Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Here's a collage of games in which I've got all achievements (100%):

Try the first one again as well. In terms of music and atmosphere it's definitely better than the second one imo. Only the fighting is annoying lol.

Controls in the second one were "weird"? They're almost the same as in the third game :D

Combat in W2 was much more challenging thou - in W3 you have much more flexibility to deal with annoying enemies (ones that are blocking, flying away, dodging etc), while in W2 you were practically forced to perfect-parry-and-counter in order to beat some enemies.

I liked the combat in W2 though very much. Combat in W3 was weird at first sight though (I got to the first village so I only fought once but it felt really weird, I hope I'll get used to it).

I found it much more DarkSouls-like ;) but it may be my personal playstyle - I was never parrying, very rarely countering - because with counter there's always a risk you miss it and get hit - instead I was dodging and rolling behind enemy to deal few stikes then roll/dodge back again :> I also found roll-behind + hit to be a perfect counter to soldiers carrying shields instead of usual heavy strikes that can crush the shield, but are slow so put you open for attacks.

The Last Game I beat was Sam and Max: Hit The Road (It was easier than 15 years ago, when I beat it for the first time),

1Heart. Ugh, it was terrible. I mean I like logic games, but that was too much. I had to use a guide to get through the game, so was I really the one, who beat it? I guess.

Of course. I use guides sometimes when playing adventure/logic games cause very often puzzles are just plain STUPID and completely illogical.

Finished the story for MGSV a week ago, but trying to go for 100% now. Crazy amount of stuff to do, though. 150 hours in and still only at 83%.

Dishonored. It was just amazing, I went the stealth way and at the end, seeing all the ramification of that choice, it really felt like that was the way to go. I will definitely replay it at one point going full action, after all there are so many powers and weapons that I did not use in this playthrough.

Looking forward to also playing the rest of the story dlc, I heard it's also great.

The last game I finished was Syberia II.

It is very similar to the first part, though it does improve things. There are more real puzzles this time around so you actually have to use your brain instead of just interacting with everything that can be interacted with until the story progresses (I know there were a few real puzzles in part one too.) Not finding one spot in a room that can be interacted with still was the reason I was stuck for some time in this game. Unlike in the first Syberia, in Syberia II, when you talk to people the dialog doesn't repeat, that is, once you talk about a topic it will be gone unless the person has something more to say about it. That is kinda nice since it saves you from checking if any of the answers changed since you last talked to them, but this also means that any hints you get from a conversation potentially can be lost if you do not pay attention. There weren't that many important clues in the conversations however.

New York Mysteries: Secrets Of The Mafia - Collector's Edition - Very good hidden object adventure game. Recommended! 8/10

PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.

Lost Lands: Dark Overlord - Collector's Edition - Another very good hidden object adventure game from the developers of New York Mysteries. 8/10

PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.

Lost Lands: The Four Horsemen - Collector's Edition - Sequel to Dark Overlord. It's even better than the previous one, recommended. 8/10

PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.
