Yay for random poll about other people's life stuff that doesn't regard me one bit!
Oh, and I hid a giveaway in this thread.

Damn, the feels! That one really hit me like a freight truck, but I think it's mainly because I had no idea what to expect (compared to, for example, Clannad, which I had heard was very sad).
My reaction was something like "WHOA WHOA WHOA WHAT THE HELL, NO, WHAT???" when I realized what was going on. :P

I cried playing once, just once. It was a sunny day in Beartopia. I had just got up, I walked to my computer and went on SteamGifts like I usually do. I saw the 'You won' cat gif. I was excited, everytime it appears feels just like the first time. I clicked on it eager to find out what majestic piece had I won and who I should thank for it. It was BAD RATS. I thought it was a good thing, since its basically an gaming life achievement. I eagerly accepted it and started downloading it on Steam. I didn't wanted to idle for cards. I didn't wanted to let that legend die on my library. I played it. I got cancer because I played it. I cried because I got cancer because I played it.

10/10 would play again

I cry easily, so it's no surprise that I cried to a lot of games/movies.

To name the closest to my heart: To the Moon, Batman: AC (Joker's death), Metal Gear Solid (Psycho Mantis' & Sniper Wolf's deaths). Those were some seriously touching scenes.
As far as movies go, I cry everytime I watch Corpse Bride and Requiem for a Dream <3

-The last episode of Six Feet Under
-Hachiko
-The Walking Dead game Season 1 (especially the last episode)
-The episode of Sopranos where Pussy was crying in the toilet
-Stargate Universe
-Lost
-The Walking Dead

Umm I'm not sure I remember. Probably when people died, mostly. Yeah, I liked SG:U, it was potentially the best SG. It was the darkest.

It depends on the mood. One day I won't cry watching Mufasa's death and the other day I might cry watching comedy just because. Hard to predict :P
I can't wait to try To the moon to test my powers :P

After a few months of briefly checking what's new about Rosetta&Philae mission – including cartoon – Philae landed. Thrice. I was reading all the tweets and the last two ones got me badly. Hopefully he will wake up. I want to believe he has enough power to get himself to orbit. To meet his best friend again. T_T Not so long ago I've seen the last cartoon.

So yeah, two boxes with faces zillion kilometres from the planet Earth made me cry several times. If something ever happened to my brain and I started doing cosplay, I would be Philae.

Let's see...

  • Just about every 5 minutes during the game Lost Odyssey (especially the first unlockable dream and the "disc change" story segment where you meat the main character's daughter).
  • Final Fantasy VI, during all of the Rachael story segments, and when Gau meets his father.
  • The swamp scene of Neverending Story.

I want to say there were plenty more, but I'm too tired to remember, I guess.

I can't remember a game making me cry yet but when it comes to movies I'm more emotionally invested when I watch a movie alone.
The last time I watched "Stranger than Fiction" it took 3 min 33 sec to make me cry like a little girl. :D

I cried when I saw A Walk to Remember, especially towards the ending. That movie's heartbreaking, best chick-flick ever.

Last i cry on last moments on Fast & Furios 7. Fuck all people who call this film story only about racing or call of Duty. This films are about family. The real it should be.

There's been a LOT that has made me cry over the years, movies, books, music, tv shows, games, ALL of it...I'm a total bitch when it comes to that sort of thing...just a few examples, with spoilers in some places:

  • The Walking Dead season 1 ending, every time...even just watching LPs on YouTube of it and I cry
  • The Iron Giant, the ending the first time I saw it when Giant says to Hogarth "You stay, I go. No following" and every single time I've seen it since then, because I know what each moment will mean later...
  • The Green Mile John Coffey's monologue about the "shards of glass in my head"
  • Shawshank Redemption Brooks' suicide, Andy's escape and Red's reunion with Andy especially..."I hope..."
  • Journey,(the game, that is, not the band) that final ascent up the mountain is especially moving as it reminds me of my late mother
  • inFAMOUS 2 evil ending it took everything I had to pull the trigger on Zeke and kill him, and I could barely see it through the tears
  • The Last Of Us of course...and no, not that first big gut punch, not the first time I played it anyway...rather, for me, That Big Moment was when Joel finally made it to Ellie after she killed David, and the sound dropped out, leaving us to just FEEL that shit
  • To The Moon of course especially when they reveal that Johnny's memory had been blocked because his brother had been killed and then pretty much every moment after that, especially when they showed him "remembering" growing up with his brother
  • For a few songs that hit me in The Feels, see here

Really, I'll cry at pretty much anything in entertainment media that has anything to do with "family moments"...
