Off the top of my head, I would say Gone Girl, Her, Nymphomaniac and Whiplash are among the best films I've watched in recent years. I don't watch many TV shows but the first season of True Detective takes the cake for me.

Just because a movie was filmed over 12 years with the same actors doesn't automatically make it a good movie. But as long as you were entertained by the movie it was worth watching. I just found boyhood not very entertaining.I do hope that you find a great list of movies to watch

Christmas and break in college are coming .I would like to watch some movies and series in this time.
I don't know which. I have my own list of the best movies and series. But I would like to know new movies and series.
