Do you like the name? "Salt Rip Studios" or "Rip Salt Studios"
Those names don't really feel very friendly to me, I would make a suggestion but coming up with a good name takes time and it's more of a matter of personal opinion. I read you explanation, but pretty sure you won't get a chance to explain that to everyone who happens to see the name somewhere, it just sounds... salty?

They don't sound bad. But if they're a reference to weed paraphernalia, I'd go with something more subtle.

I dont think people memorize any small / new studios' names anyway. It is the game name who should people remember in the future

Just a little game my friend made to test out steam Greenlight and listing + selling stuff.
PS. Here in Australia in a very niche part of society "to be salt" is "to be mad" salt = mad.
