One of my favorite JRPGs ever was Lost Odyssey by Mistwalker (i think) the guys who did The Last Story for Wii. Too bad it's only on fucking xbox 360. Why R Japanese devs hatin/afraid of da PC!

Lost odyssey was amazing! though I never finished it because i was underlevelled deep in a cave on disc 4 didnt know how to get out haha

the ost was equally awesome, on par with nomuras FF stuff

Kudos on that, not a lot of people know about that game and it's like way better than any Final Fantasies released from the PS2 era until now. Too bad I'm going to have to sell my xbox and will probably never finish it...

Same problem. I too sold my xbox :/. And PS3 gets a shitload of unique JRPGs :(. Maybe someday Japanese devs will come around to the idea of putting their games on PC as well.

Never heard of ePSXe until this thread. I feel like I've been living under a rock.

Any recommended games? I only know of FF7 and King's Field :X.

Xenogears, Star Ocean 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story, Tales of Destiny 1 and 2 (2nd also known as Tales of Eternia), Parasite Eve 1 and 2, Breath of Fire 3 and 4...

All those are PS only, if you also want to try at SNES then Star Ocean 1 and Breath of Fire 1 and 2 are great too.
