Think you can do it?
Done too
I struggled finishing all cases in Night Call, it's fun and builds a nice atmosphere at first, but the same conversations keep appearing without an option to skip them and it drags everything.
I definetely reccomend you to play Finding Paradise, even if the visuals are not the best
Thanks for the challenge!

I hate it when games don't let you skip certain parts if they encourage you to replay them multiple times -.-.

I am almost there!:
Whispers of a Machine (I really liked it)
Kathy Rain (I didn't find it as good as Whispers, and didn't like it as much...)
Darkside Detective (not bad, I enojoyed it)
Tiny Echo (I found this one quite boring)
Late Shift (awesome, I will definetily replay it to find other endings)
I still have to play the 6th one, I think it will be Finding Paradise.
Thanks Cjcomplex for the great GA!
EDIT: DONE

Thoughts on The Norwood Suite? I've heard good things about it but I find the art style a bit off putting.

Bump for All done!
Game | Monthly | Status |
---|---|---|
Old Man's Journey | October 2018 | All Done |
The Darkside Detective | January 2019 | Achievements |
Lara Croft Go | April 2018 | Achievements |
Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You | October 2017 | Achievements |
Whispers of a Machine | January 2020 | Achievements |
Late Shift | March 2019 | Achievements |
I enjoyed all of them but some definitely more than others. Orwell and Whispers of the Machine, I will definitely play over and over and I already have actually.
The Old Man's Journey was beautiful but didn't offer much replay value unfortunately.
Late Shift was an interesting experience but I found all the endings were a bit of a let-down, somehow.
Lara Croft Go was a lot of fun even though I suck at strategy games and it's lacking what I enjoy the most in Tomb Raider games: the exploration.
The Darkside Detective is an alright point and click. I liked the humor and all the easter eggs they sneaked in there but it is unfinished and it feels like it.

Dropsy is weird-cute, I liked it. Also, a little bit sad. Just like clowns. But, well, I love all weird :D And I'm a minority who doesn't like that much nor Finding Paradise nor To the Moon. But Dropsy isn't in "must play, can't skip" category, and I can't recommend it to anyone without knowing what a person likes, but — it has its own charm.
Wuppo (nobody asked, but well xD), on the other hand, is the game that I can recommend to play to almost anyone. Adorable-cute, a little bit of boss-fighting, platforming, puzzles, even RPG in steam tags. Real 'adventure', so to speak.
My fav part is the very start: !spoiler for the first 5 minutes in the game!
main character has to find for himself a new home, because he got evicted from the old one, because he liked to be at home all the time and eat icecream but then in-room delivery pneumotube stopped working, so he got all floors greasy (several times) while carrying icecream from front desk to his room

Yes I know it is called Humble Choice now but it is a shitty name so I'll ignore it.
Hello hello and welcome all to the madness.
The challenge is simple: Play and beat any 6 games, starting today, that have been featured in any given Humble Monthly/Choice bundle in one month.
The prize: GreedFall
Game length does not matter and I'm not looking for 100% achievement runs. So long as you play and beat 6 games, I'm happy. You can go easy mode and play a bunch of 1h games or go crazy and play 6 +30h games. So long as they were in a monthly at a given point, it is all good.
Just post a comment with either screenshots/ achievements showing that you fulfilled the criteria and I'll add on Steam and give you the link. Feel free to share your thoughts on the games you've played, but it is not required.
FAQ:
Why you doing this?
I hate money. That and I realized I've been subbed to the monthly for nearly five years (yes it has been that long, I checked) and it occurred to me that I've barely touched the games I've gotten from it, let alone played them. Figured the same would be true for a few others, so I figured this is a good way to change that. A sensible person would probably unsub in this situation, but please refer to the beginning as to why that will not happen.
Why six games?
The first few monthlies had 6/7 games in them so I went with that.
How long are you going to do this?
Until my credit card statements gives me nightmares.
This event "ends" on April 3rd when the next HB Choice releases, though the giveaway itself will end the next day. If you manage to finish game number six in between that time, feel free to post, but know that I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to give you the link in time. It may be hard to believe, but I don't live here. I live at my real life job since it seems like I never leave that place :/.
Good luck and have fun.
Thanks for reading, here's a cookie.

If you are wondering why you don't see a private giveaway running on my profile, my purchase was flagged for manual review on Gamersgate ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I'll make one the moment they realize I'm not evil. All good now :D.List of eligible games: https://barter.vg/bundles/3/3/
