I pirated almost every game that i played, when i was younger and cant afford games. Nowadays the only pirated game is WoW cause im playing on free server. (and im thinking if wow client isnt free)

CS, firstly I downloaded a crack then brought the game on Steam..

Thinking of buying RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum, downloaded that and it was good, but costs quite alot but I'll buy it soon probably :D

Quite a few... Ys: Oath in Felghana, Sacred Gold, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source (wanted to test HL2 and CS:S to make sure they run on my PC), GTA San Andreas, Terraria, GTA Vice City, Fable: The Lost Chapters.. I think that's it.

When I was 15~18 years old, I pirated my games because I had no money to spend. Since then, I buy my games on Steam and bought >95% the 'old' games I played as well. Except the Need For Speed games, as they are not on Steam. I don't pirate games anymore, I buy them in Steam sales (and grey import sites). :p

After watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F8nrmrpBMo I stopped accepting "to see if it would run" as a valid excuse.

I don't remember buying a game I pirated, but I think there are a couple where I had a pirated version of a game then bought the sequels. I had a pirated copy of Tomb Raider IIRC and then bought pretty much all the rest of the games over time (maybe I'm missing one or two, I don't remember). I also think that both Elder Scrolls: Arena and Daggerfall I had pirated, and then I bought Morrowind and Oblivion (and played neither, but I played Daggerfall a lot).

Most of my games were pirated first and bought afterwards. I use piracy as a test anyways

but I will say Fable The Lost Chapters.

Well, it's probably quite a lot of games - in fact, "I've pirated this game a long time ago" is a very common buying reason for me.
Let's see - Mount and Blade, Stalker, Far Cry 2, Fallout 1 and 2, Planescape Torment, Borderlands, Beyond Good and Evil (for PC and Xbox both), Hitman: Blood Money, Morrowind GOTY, Flatout, GTA San Andreas, Half-Life 2 + episodes, Portal, Puzzle Quest, Stronghold, Unreal Tournament 2004, Trine... that might be it.
