[Ended] Tell me which video game genre you enjoy the most,

Recently, I've been playing the hell out of, and enjoying, point and click adventures. Let's see. So far I've played The Walking Dead, Back To The Future, the first two Monkey Island games, and Botanicula; all of them great in their own ways. Right now, I'm crying my way through To The Moon, and after that, I still have Machinarium and a boat load of Telltale stuff like Sam & Max and Hector to play.

FPS

Everything except horror, and most kids' games. I love RPGs strategy games (even though I usually fail miserably), FPSs, TPSs, platformers, puzzlers, everything :D

Something that contains a large element of strategy.

Point and Click

Stat heavy CRPGs, TBSs & TBTs in general, and also tick based grand strategy games.

Honourable mention goes to point & click adventure games.

Anything that is a pioneer, unique and has interesting story line + characters - eg. Heavy Rain, The Walking Dead, MGS or The Witcher series (I probably loved it as I love the books)

I used to love pure RPGs like Final Fantasy series. I loved the adventures, stories, leveling-ups, items, characters, environments, worlds, and other varieties. I could go like hours and hours travelling and doing things inside the game. But now, I don't have the patience to play those long RPGs, don't know why. Now, I'm more into FPS games and multiplayer games. Maybe because it feels more challenging, to have beaten and be better than people, and also because it's simpler: just join a server, and then point and shoot right away without waiting for some bullshits like leveling-ups XD

I probably enjoy the platformers(both 2D and 3D, unique in their own ways) for singleplayer, fighting games for local multiplayer. I don't like online multi that much, but if I had to choose, then probably fighting games too.

Adventure/visual novel style games (like Ghost Trick, 999, Virtue's Last Reward, and The Walking Dead). Anything with a great story, really.

Final Fantasy taught me how to read. I cant stand the aboninations they pass of as FF titles nowadays, but I still remain true to my favorite genre. The RPG!!!
