Not really trying to change your point of view because it doesn't look like you are here for a conversation, but if you like point&click adventure games there is no reason not to like HOGs made by Artifex Mundi. These are good p&c's and hidden object scenes are just small part of these games.
If you don't like p&c - there are different games for different people.

This year’s Steam Summer Sale was my first (I wasn’t active on steam until this winter) and I really liked the idea of encore sales.
