Still seeing Giveaways I already Own

Not sure if this is just me, but I just synced my account and am still seeing giveaways for stuff I already own.

You have to click the gear icon and tell it to hide the giveaways for games you already own. I have no idea why it isn't set that way by default.

http://www.steamgifts.com/account/settings/giveaways - you can hide owned games here. However just like before (in sg1) some "Complete" Editions or similar stuff will not be recognized, but now you can block those with the additional manual block list.
